Description
This elegant room divider is inspired by the traditional use of shoji paper in Japan. Renowned for its beauty, translucence, and lightweight design, rice paper has been used in Japanese homes for over a thousand years. Set inside a chic spruce frame with a double-cross lattice, this folding screen is a great way to partition a room, conceal a messy space, or add a decorative accent to the home or office.

Perfect for my home officeThis is the perfect size for my home office that is in the corner of a room. Before buying this I had a 6 ft partition which was way too tall and blocked a lot of light. This partition is much better. It covers enough to make the office feel separated, but I still have light from the window and I don’t feel as isolated.

FYI- There is a return fee for this item.Be sure this is what you want. I was charged a return fee of $42. I need the 6ft not 4ft. The 4ft just looked too short for the space.

Perfectly fit our needsSize and height were perfect, as well as the design. We needed a moveable wall to keep the cats out of the living room. Love it!

What I expected, packaged wellThe screen is attractive, and what I expected. Using it to cover my desk/office area. The only disappointment is that one of the panels is not pulled tightly and so there is a wave/wrinkle in it. (upper right) Not important enough for me to go to the trouble of re-packaging, returning, and waiting for another one to become available.

Nice dividerArrived early, packed very well. Nice shipping. It was dusty when it came out of the box but that’s easily fixed. I got the 3 panel black one, which is a good choice for a modern/contemporary home. It looks exactly like the picture. We recently moved to a new place that doesn’t have a kitchen door, so we’re using this to keep the cat out of the kitchen. As noted in the description, the design is only on the front. Plain paper on the back. I like that it’s only 4ft. tall, so it doesn’t block off the entire kitchen area – you can still see the kitchen over it. The panels can be arranged in any position you want thanks to the double hinges. It’s not terribly sturdy… it stands upright and does the job without any indication that it’s going to tip over on its own, but if you have young children or big dogs in the house, a jab in the wrong place could easily tear it or bring it crashing down.Edit: We are using it as a kitchen ‘door’, and since we constantly go in and out of the kitchen, it is getting very annoying to balance this thing each time we go in or out. I wish it was heavier. Now I’m looking for some way to anchor two panels down so that we’re only moving the third one back and forth, and the whole thing doesn’t have to be re-balanced every time we use it.

Nice dividerI work from home, and my computer desk is in my living room, so I purchased this to get a little separation with the living area, and I bought this to try it.First of all, it’s a good height so it feels like the computer equipment, desk, etc., is all behind it so you don’t see it, but it’s still part of the room. It’s nice and clean looking, so it doesn’t distract, if not add to the room. It’s nice enough where I’m thinking of doing the same thing in a different part of the room.

Does the jobI enjoy this divider. It looks great. My only thing is the wood frame seems bulky. It could be a little more innovative there. Creates good privacy inside the window still letting light in.

Perfect room divider for it’s purposeThis room divider is the perfect height for separating my spaces and still be able to see the TV in the other room. I use it to keep my roommate’s dog out of the living room where she was destroying my pillows and and chewing on my furniture.

Perfect half-wall.I used this to cover up the washer & dryer in my home office/laundry room. It comes assembled, and all of the hinges are two-way hinges, so each panel can pivot fully. I really like it and it looks nice on camera.
