No Brainer!!! Perfect upgrade for me!!!I bought the desk for my basement, home studio. This product is very well made for the price and also, irrelevant of price. Double boxed for shipment. Outer box was torn when delivered but inner was immaculate. Shipped in two separate boxes. A smaller one and a large, heavy one. This desk has some serious heft to it. Picture instructions only, but the pictures are very accurate. I had no problems following them. I studied all of the steps first which is a good idea. The desk is very accurately machined for assembly. Everything lined up exactly the way it should. The hardware bag was awesome – everything labeled and in line with the instructions. No flaws or missing parts. The surface on the desk seems tough. It is a raised “grain” surface so a mouse pad would be ideal although I haven’t gotten one yet, but the mouse works fine. To hand write on this desk would require a flat surface of some type. It’s like a resinous coating with a lightly grooved texture. The grain pattern is beautiful. Functionality based on its layout is really good. Holds 4 single rack units on each side under the speaker shelves. Rack rails and bolts/rubber washers are included. Rolls easily on 5 rotating wheels. The two front wheels are locking. The keyboard shelf holds my Yamaha MX61 with about .5 inch of open space on each side and about 2” of space above. In other words, it fits like a glove. I briefly thought about buying something less expensive and I’m glad I didn’t. The company is called ACME and the coyote/roadrunner came to mind. Believe me, this ACME company rocks and I’m never looking back on the purchase. You will be pleased assuming shipping, manufacturing, parts etc. are as good for you as they were for me. I cannot see why they wouldn’t be. The company seems to have their act together with quality control. It’s bigger than it looks in my pictures. Pretty much 6’ wide and pretty deep as well. Super pleased!

Worth The Money!!!Assembling: I would definitely recommend having a friend help you assemble the desk. Sure, you could do it by yourself, but it would take a very long time. One thing I’d like for the company to add to the instructions is which pool goes where. After my friend and I assembled all the pools and flipped the desk up to it’s proper possession, we realized that in order to assemble the next part, the 2 pools in the back have to have holes in them. Only 2 pools out of 4 had holes in them and the directions didn’t tell us that. Nor did they tell us where the 2 pools with the holes had to go. So, my friend and I had to flip it back over and rearrange the pools. Overall the assemble was very simple. It just took a while so again, have a friend help you.Sturdiness: The Sturdiness is actually really good. No complaints.Money Worth: This desk is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL! I look at this beautiful desk in my room sometimes and still have trouble believing that I got it for only $550. THATS INSANE!!! The desk is definitely worth the money I highly recommend buying it!I am highly satisfied with this order. It also arrived like 4 days early for me which was awesome! Bravo to the company behind this desk! 10 out of 10! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Nice deskLove this desk I use it in my personal practice / band rehearsal studio . I mounted a Behringer mixer in one of the rack mount spaces along with power supplies on both sides for all my speakers etc. . My Roland VR-09 61 note combo keyboard fits in the keyboard tray very snuggly however I am going to have to put larger wheels on the table to raise the keyboard tray sits right at my knees ( I’m 6’2” ) the 2 inch wheels on it now will be replaced with 5 inch wheels which should make the desk much more usable for me .

GREAT DESK!!!! BUT HAS SOME ISSUESGreat desk!!!! Easy to assemble and the wood and hardware are pretty solid. I was definitely impressed with the value for the cost, HOWEVER I was highly disappointed that the desk can’t be moved on the wheels with all the equipment installed. While moving the desk into position the rubber broke off the 3 caster wheels on the back of the desk. If not for that this desk is easily 5 stars. I had to buy wood blocks to put under the back of the desk to keep it leveled until I can find the right casters to replace them with. I would probably have to replace them all so they are all the same. I guess I caught the short end of the stick with this one. Will follow up in a little while.

I really what to like this deskI really want to like this thing but , this desk cannot support the weight of professional studio monitors and rack gear . as a matter of fact I had to remove all my rack gear as I thought the desk was going to break. It’s made out of particleboard and there is absolutely no support for the monitor stands and the rack gear as that is where all of the weight on the desk is at . It needs at least three more wheels underneath it and it needs support rods to support the monitor stands because it also holds rack gear . the wings of the desk where all the weight is is totally unsupported … poor design … it’s a beautiful desk and the The particleboard would be fine if it was just supported and that’s what I’m going to have to do, go to Home Depot and get some conduit and casters to fix it … I have construction experience and will be able to make this desk work but out of the box it’s garbage. If you have construction skills then this may be a good deal for you but I am not recommending this product .

A very practical design at a reasonable priceEasy build. The non scratch surface is so practical and the design accomodations are as well. I am running prologic with my mac mini and other recording DAW on a Windows platform. The desk surface offers plenty of room for cpu keyboards, a mouse, and audio interface,a small mixer for just playing and practice with friends. My software has plenty of power and plugins so I don’t use external gear for recording. I use the 8 unit gear rack for live sound gear to jam with friends, playing along with recordings, when I am learning new material. I have a stereo compressor, a crown amp, a rack mounted Korg X3R synth and power strip all within arm’s reach. The icing on the cake is the slide out controller keyboard drawer. This is a well thought out design that doesn’t clutter the work area with excessive rack spaces that take up usable space. Take your time routing audio and power cables and it will pay you back in productivity. The price is worth it.

Very sturdy and well designed deskThis desk far exceeded my expectations. Value for money is off the charts. Mine arrived in great shape and professional assembly was included. The desk is impressively sturdy and well designed. I especially appreciate the wheels since I am always having to tinker with cables from the rear.

The wood base material is fine. The rest is not.EDIT 11SEP2022: One of the caster wheels gave out and snapped in half under the desk while I was moving the desk. There’s hardly any actual weight on this desk since there’s only space for one rack unit, like I said in the rest of the review. Acme has also not responded to me to get 2 parts replaced that did not arrive with the package during initial shipping.ORIGINAL 04AUG2022: I wish I took a video of an unboxing to verify what I’m saying is true, but after spending this much, I really wanted everything to be okay. Anyways!Overall, it feels hefty and nice. Look great too! But I can’t get into that now, considering I can’t finish putting it together. My package came preeeeeetty beat up, but if it’s something heavy, that’s just how things work. The main issue is that they forgot to pack the “small right/left panel” for the other side of the desk. Without those two pieces, I can’t have an additional monitor for my setup. This desk has been sitting around since 2019 according to the manufacturing date as well, so this problem has been laying in wait. Not overly happy about that.I consider myself fairly reasonable, but if you spend nearly 600 bucks including tax on a desk, you’d prefer everything to go smoothly and get what you paid for.I reached out the Acme. Let’s see what they say.

Easy installation and well explainedThe amount isn’t wealthy to the product this product must be expensive but gues what I managed it’s all looking good

Nice butIt looked nice in the pictures, however, there are some cons to go with the pros.Once I loaded it up with my outboard gear and placed my near field monitors (Adams P11s) where they are meant to go, I discovered that the entire setup was back heavy which puts too much stress on the back casters and make the entire desk feel a bit wobbly – like it would easily flip over. None of the rack gear that I added would be considered heavier than average. The design could be greatly improved if the center of gravity for the racks was a bit more forward. Also, for a desk designed for this purpose, the casters are a bit too flimsy. I would have sent it back had I known about these issues but once I assembled it and added my gear I felt I was too invested in it. Disassembling and packing it up would be a bridge too far. . The old saying about getting what you paid for certainly applies here.
