SafetyI have had the chair just over a month and everything seemed to be working fine. I had surgery 2 days ago so I definitely needed the assistance of the chair. As I started to lift the chair I could hear what sounded like screws falling out. Since I was unable to get Dow right away, I could tell exactly what was going on. I later called my son to take a look and we realized 2 bolts on the left side were not properly bolted and tightened and there were 5 screws that had seemingly fallen out of the chair assembly that is to hold the chair up! I was greatly disappointed in this happening and it just so happens that I missed the return window by 2 weeks exactly!! I donāt feel safe with this chair nor would I purchase it again if I had the opportunity to do so. I initially bought it for my mother who is older and has a hard time getting in and out of regular chairs. It just so happened that I had surgery and it was to be a convenient help but that proved not to be so.

Would not recommend these lift chairsOrdered 2 of these chairs and they are easy enough to assemble and comfortable for average size adults. Replaced one chair almost immediately as we had issues with the lift function working consistently. Now we are consistently needing to address both chairs due to overall poor craftsmanship and nails/scres that keep falling out and making the chairs function poorly. Nails have been placed where screws are stripped, but consistently fall out anyway. I would not rexommend these chairs unless owners are okay with daily repaurs.

great lift chairi used this for post surgery to assist me to get up out of seat. And this worked great! What would have made it perfect was if the recline function and the foot rest were separate functions so you could sit up and have a foot rest too. when the foot rest comes up, the back reclines. minor thing but overall i would buy this again!!

Easy to assembleEasy to assemble, assuming that you can lift about 20 pounds to slip the back piece into the chair. Assembly took me 10 minutes and five of that was reading the instructions. Works great. Gradual lifting is just what my mom needs. You can stop at anytime.

Very comfortable and perfect size for a woman.Love this chair. Perfect size for a woman. I have COPD and osteoporosis and this chair is perfect for me. I was surprised how fast it got here and how easy it was to assemble, just 2 pieces. My son had it up and working in 10 min.

Not recommended for people who need help getting in and outChair is very comfortable and the perfect size but it is too light and not sturdy at all. The whole chair will move when lifting someone. Since these types of chairs are often used for people with mobility issues it needs to be more stable.
