I am happy with this bookcaseOverall, I am happy with this bookcase. It was easy to assemble, we’ll priced, and sturdy. I was worried about the shelves bowing under the weight of the cookbooks I planned to put on it. As soon as I opened the packaging however I immediately was reassured that this thing would have no problem. Seems like solid wood all around and looks great. The color is a little different than I expected. For espresso, it’s a bit lighter than I expected which is the main reason it’s getting 4 stars from me rather than 5.

Gets the job done, classes the joint up a bitSolid design. Goes together easily and feels very sturdy. Shelves are strong, no bowing (even loaded with heavy hardcover books). The back is all one piece, no crease down the middle. It slides into slots instead of having to be nailed on. Finish is a tiny bit uneven but overall has a classy feel.
