Nice Chair, But…After weeks of comparing products, prices and reviews on various websites, I was surprised at how hard it is to find a simple, upholstered, high back dining chair with arms that’s comfortable and well-made. I finally decided on these. Partly because I was tired of searching and partly because I ran out of time and needed chairs. So here’s honest pros and cons on this chair:Pros: It comes assembled. Definitely a positive and perhaps it’s strongest selling point. I was dreading opening the box, but it was packed in a way that made it a breeze. The chair is very light. I’m a female in my 60’s and was able to lift it out of the box easily. Even the delivery driver commented on how light it was, given the size of the box. Overall, the product looks well-made (at first glance). The color (Fawn) is a warm tan and although it’s not the color I wanted, it’s a good neutral and it’s growing on me. There were no flaws, stains, broken parts, tears, crumply fabric lines or wobbly legs — that’s a win! It’s comfortable, as in good… not great.Cons: It’s so lightweight, it made me wonder what kind of wood the frame is made of and how much cushion is underneath the fabric. After a closer look, it’s clear the fabric is stretched over the frame and there’s a minimal amount of padding. Not much cushiness on the sides, arms or back. The seat is padded, but it’s a hard, stiff cushion that I suspect may sink or flatten after a couple months of use. The design is nice, but a few small changes would have made a big difference. The back should be taller, the arms higher (and padded), and the seat needs to be a little wider. More importantly, if quality cushioning and padding had been used, this would have been a beautiful chair and worth the price. It gets good reviews, but I think the manufacturer cut too many corners on quality and comfort to give it more than 3 stars.

Great chairs overallI ordered these chairs to be placed at a breakfast bar for my three year olds. I like the back and side arms and I loved that they came assembled. I scotch guarded them and scrub the arms and backing weekly due to three year olds eating habits. Fabric is holding up well and cleans well. Ive had them for 3-4 months. I do have a booster on them too. My only complaint is that crumbs get behind and around the seat cushion and the cushion does not come out so I have to get my vacuum out each time I clean them and jam it all around the sides to get out the crumbs. Otherwise, they are awesome!

Quality at a fabulous price!Loved it straight out of the box! Had two very expensive chairs ($800 each from a high-end furniture store) for 20 years. Wrought iron with backs and arms that swiveled. Glad I took a chance and ordered these, figuring that we could return them with free shipping if we didn’t like them. They’re keepers!

Exceeds expectationsThese chairs were much larger than I anticipated which was great! They also came pre-assembled which is AMAZING! They are fine for occasionally-used dining room though I might upgrade to something with a little more padding if we used them more often

Elegant and comfortableVery good chairs, exactly the way I wanted to match my overall decor. Comfortable and elegant. Just one additional feature I would like to have is an easy-wipe-cleanable cover (probably stitched) item on the corners of the handles. These are already getting dirty as they are used to pull the chair in, and especially with kids as they just use food-soiled hands to pull/push from there.
