Nice TV stand, decent value, looks niceI almost did not buy this based on the fairly negative tone of a lot of the reviews. But I am glad I did. A lot of others reported damage to their product, I really didn’t have any. I had one piece that was cracked, but after installing it, I am not worried about it, it is solid. Some of that I think you have to expect. It does come with a boat load of parts and pieces and it did take me about 4 hours to put it together. All pieces and hardware were there and I wasn’t short anything. I found the instructions to be pretty clear and detailed. You just need a little time and patience. I did put wood glue in all of the dowel inserts, it didn’t call for it, but I figured it couldn’t hurt and would increase structural integrity. The fireplace insert looks nice, I was really pleased with it, and it heats up my room very well (it is a closed off 12 foot by roughly 20 foot room). The remote works fine, and yeah, it is a fake fire, but I think it looks pretty good in my opinion. I agree with the one reviewer who said to leave the door hinges off till last, I had put the the two small blocks that the door hinges attach to on backwards, and had to take off and reverse. Pay close attention to which way they go. Doors did not close all the way initially but after playing with the adjustments on the hinges, they work fine. For what I spent, I think I got decent value, so my experience was good. Very pleased with it.

Its a solid piece of furnitureThis is what I was looking for. I chose this one over some of the other brands because it had a 23 inch fireplace where the others had 18 inch. I was concerned about putting it together because I have never been good at these things. The instructions were good and easy to follow. It took me several hours but like I said I am not very good with these things. I agree with the other reviews that say to put the door hinges on the doors first and then attach them to the cabinet. Much easier. It came packaged very well and I was surprised to find a defect in the glass on one of the doors. I called their customer service and they were very good no questions asked and sent me out another door that arrived in a few days. For the money I think its a good buy. Fireplace looks great and puts out good heat. Im very pleased with this purchase.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!This fireplace console is everything I wanted. My daughter & I put it together in a about 3 hours with no problem! It’s heavy, attractive, and the fireplace is stunning! Looks like a real fire! I live in Florida and I got this just before the “coldest day we’ve had in 4 years”, so we got this up and running just in time! It was awesome having the fire and the extra heat. It was so cozy! Even on the warmer nights, we love to have the “fire” burning without the heat. It just adds some coziness to the room. The product was well marked and had all the necessary hardware marked so it made it easy to follow the directions for assembly. We had absolutely zero problems putting it together! BTW, I’m a 68 year old female, and my daughter is 47. No males needed for assembly! LOL!

Good quality, hard to assembleI love my fireplace/tv stand, but be prepared to spend about 2.5-3 hours on assembly. The directions are pretty good, but it comes in a ton of pieces with lots of hardware. It took my dad and I a solid three hours to assemble it.It works great, the flames look nice, heats my living room well, and is very solid. It did come with a crack on the base piece, but we were too far into assembly to want to do anything about sending it back. I would check all pieces for cracks before assembly.

Love my fireplace but…I love the ambiance it creates. And I ask Alexa to play fire crackling sounds with it! Not for heat however, unless you’re sitting right in front of it. Took about 2 hours for one person to put together. I really love it.
