Great beautiful piece but well… cheap quality.Assembly wasn’t too difficult but I’d say it definitely requires two people for a easier assembly. It’s a beautiful piece truly and like everyone said the heater does have a sound but after having it for so long u kinda tune it out and sometimes I forgot the heater was even on. It gives off great heat though but is very cheap quality wood. That kind that cracks and chips very easily so when putting together u MUST take your time because one wrong move like we did and one of the screws rips through the wood. So I would recommend just beware of that quality. I can tell I won’t have this piece for long especially since I’m with the military and we move a lot so it’s already been chipped and scraped from moving unfortunately. Tried to upload photos but it wouldn’t work for some reason.

Check measurementsGuess I did not think of the height of the stand, it is not very tall but it works ok in my den. First thing to check!! The packet that has the screws in it please look, they are TWO different lengths!! Make sure you are using the right ones as needed!! Also…expresso in this case means black….don’t be fooled, it is black. Overall for the money the stand is nice, just take your time putting it together.

 Great heat output, lovely flames and ambience, sturdy, modern yet matches all decor, versatile, easily reconfigured, easily moved! 4 years and 4 moves later, still amazing! Heat is the perfect temperature to actually warm a room, yet not too hot to burn little toddler fingers! Baby and dogs love sitting in front of it. It has worked in our first tiny house and now with a spacious updated home! I’ve used it by itself for storage and decor on the top, as shown, as well as with a 55 inch TV sitting on top of it. I absolutely love this piece! If you’re hesitant about it, go with the espresso finish, it has matched everything beautifully!

Oh boy where do I begin…I gave an extra star because it is assembled in America and 70% of the parts are made here in the USA. That being said that is just about the only redeeming quality. To begin, there is way too much styrofoam in the box, I’m gonna be cleaning this mess up for weeks, you can never get it all in one go. Secondly, the materials are very cheap and not very sturdy, had lots of chips in the “wood” upon arrival. Lastly, let me tell you…I find zen in putting things together…but this thing right here sent me straight to furniture hell where I cursed, I cried, I screamed into the void. The instructions are not very clear and let me tell you, once you put the top part of the stand on you are going to have some very stark realizations about everything you just screwed in. That last piece will undo everything you just did and make you question all ability you have to put anything together ever. Now given all the negative, I will say, the fireplace is really cool. Makes your room cozy and you can run just the fire without running the heater. It in itself is responsible for a star. I have a love hate relationship with this thing and it may not hold up, but I believe the fireplace heater will so that makes it fairly worth it to me. You have been warned of the aggravation.

Parts did not fit correctlySo I have bought one of these in the past and thought I would get another one but as a gift for my dad. When it arrived the box was in rough shape which is probably the shippers fault. However when it came up to assembly some of the parts were not cut to accurate measurements. We managed to force it together and it works since we do not plan on moving it. However when he went to put the top on it doesnt sit properly due to the boards that the fire place sits in are a 1/4 of an inch too tall. We made it work, however, for the price of the item and the type of product these measurements should not have been off.

 The Ameriwood Home Parsons Console Fireplace for TVs up to 65″ in Espresso is much darker than expected. I like the darker color and am happy with how it looks. The fireplace is not easy to put together. It is relatively time-consuming. One of the boards was not predrilled like the rest and that took a large amount of time getting that fixed. The actual fireplace insert was absolutely hard to put in just as we read. A magnetized screwdriver is a very useful tool in this situation. We were able to do it without but it was not easy. There is limited hand space and the screw must go a long distance into a narrow channel. The reason why I chose this fireplace was that the flame was relatively realistic and there was an option to turn the heat off. It does not have a remote but some users put it on a smart switch. We have not tried this yet. It is sturdy and holds our tv, videos, games, and gaming equipment. This is what I expected and I am happy with my order.

Not perfect but not bad at allIt came together fairly easily – I was able to do it by myself with no help. there were 2 boards in particular that require you to use the provided screws to screw in, those ones both audibly and visually split slightly – it is not at all noticeable, but it made me wince when it happened and i was worried they were going to snap in half. They didnt, but I would be cautious about buying it if i had any plans on moving in the next 5 years, as i am not confident it would survive a move.However, standing still, it is a nice sturdy thing, I only have a 55″ tv, but I trust any size tv on it (its rated for 65″ but I think that is based purely on width of the stand, not on the weight or size of tv – I would feel confident putting a 75-85″ tv on there)The fireplace is obviously not a real fireplace, but it is a heater with LED lighting to emulate a fire. One super nice thing is the light and the heat are separate switches – I wanted a fake fireplace for the ambiance more than the heat, so its nice i can just kind of keep the light on most the time with no concerns about the extra heat.It unfortunately does not come with a remote, but if you pair it with a smart switch you can turn it on and off remotely, however, as mentioned, the lighting and the heat are on separate switches, so if you like the light 98% of the time but not the heat like me, you will probably have to still get up and flip the switch when you want heat.I like it, I would buy it again, i think it makes my place look cozy. Fire doesnt look PARTICULARLY real, but it doesnt looks so bad that it is distracting.

Nice addition to my loft/officeI had a small to table in my loft/office. This table adds a much nicer touch to hold my 50″ TV and a few nick-knacks. The fake fireplace is nice for watching tv in the evenings from my recliner chair. It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble.

Looks goodEasily chips, the expresso color looks more black than brown. Looks ok, could be just a little higher. Heat works great.
