The best way to identify which bar stool height is right for your counter is to start by measuring the distance between your floor and the underside of your counter. You will then subtract between 9-11” from that number, this will give you the height of your bar stool which is from the floor to the top of your bar stool’s seat. If you want to go the convenient route, we recommend selecting an adjustable bar stool that you can control to your desire height.

Beautiful and FunctionalWhat a beautiful, large, and comfortable swivel adjustable height stool!There are no instructions on assembly, but it is intuitive. The plastic ring goes on the bottom base, just as a loose cover-up for the joint where the piston joins the base. This literally takes less than 5 minutes to assemble.The height adjustment piston is smooth and not jarring. The stool swivels easily.This will go with the worktable in our shop, it’s almost too pretty, but COMFORT is most important when working on intricate projects.HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one!

Such a Great Addition To Our KitchenI am so happy with the new breakfast bar stools. Not only are they so comfortable, but they are pretty too. The fact that they are adjustable makes it easy to get the perfect height to go with my breakfast bar.The black wood back has wide cut-outs and no padding giving it a modern look that is a match, but not identical to our other Armen Living stool. The padded seat is very comfy. I get my day started enjoying breakfast and a coffee sitting here in my stools. The foot rest is a nice position for me at 5’3″ and my husband at almost 6′ too. I like that it swivels easily since the bar isn’t very long so we sit pretty close to each other, but can easily swivel outwards to get in and out of the seat. The seat can be adjust lower while seated in the chair, but you need to hop off to adjust it higher. The lever located just under the seat to the right makes it easy to get just the right seating height.Assembly was super easy, took about 5 minutes each to put them together and start using them. They are not super heavy which is nice for moving them in and out of the bar when we are not using them, (to keep our cats from jumping up), but they are heavy enough that they feel sturdy. They aren’t wobbly at all.We are very pleased with our new set of adjustable breakfast bar stools, they look great in our kitchen and go with each other and out other appliances in the room. This review is for the stool that the white arrow is pointing too, but we also purchased the other chair to go together as a set.

Sinks too lowI have a mismatched assortment of Armen bar stools, and this is a nice enough addition to them. It looks very nice and the materials look nice. It survived shipping even if the box didn’t, so that’s saying something.The chair is very quick and easy to set up; I got it done in under 3 minutes. Once I sat in the chair, I was disappointed. Unlike my 4 other Armen bar stool, this one sinks really low when you sit in it, even when it’s at it’s highest setting. The person sitting in it might feel awkward eating from the counter due to the height. Something is wrong with the pole that goes into seat.Overall, pretty chair but bad height.
