The best way to identify which bar stool height is right for your counter is to start by measuring the distance between your floor and the underside of your counter. You will then subtract between 9-11” from that number, this will give you the height of your bar stool which is from the floor to the top of your bar stool’s seat. If you want to go the convenient route, we recommend selecting an adjustable bar stool that you can control to your desire height.

Very sturdy, comfortable counter stool!We’ve been looking for bar stools for quite a while. These stools were available at other stores but Amazon offered the best price. I purchased the counter height stools in grey. They arrived early and are exactly what we expected. They weren’t hard to put together. They are very sturdy and comfortable and look nice in our kitchen.

Great stools for countertop use.We bought 4 and are very pleased. They are very sturdy, with no easy tip-overs. They look beautiful with our new kitchen. Assembly involved inserting 4 bolts between the legs and the seat, adding washers and nuts, and tightening. The first took my wife and me over an hour. Then I got smarter. I took two clean, gallon paint cans to hold the seat upside down and nearly level. Then I turned the black base on the seat to make adding the bolts easy (I used basic pliers to hold the nuts, one at a time). It only took ten minutes for each of the last three.

Overall thumbs upI was looking for a nicely-designed stool that would compliment my kitchen island and also provide seating for guests on occasions when needed. This fits the bill nicely and at a good price point. Attaching the seat to the base was unexpectedly difficult – I felt like I needed a drink when I was done, and I’m not a drinker. The legs on my stool are apparently uneven because the stool wobbles a bit no matter where I place it. Not the end of the world and I’ll figure out a way to correct it, but yes- it’s annoying. I wish I could say it’s comfy, but I cannot- not a big issue for me because I don’t plan on sitting there for long periods of time. It does have a nice large seat so I expect it will accommodate people of all sizes without a problem. The height of the stool is also perfect for a kitchen island.For me, form was more important than function- it looks really nice and I’m satisfied. For someone planning to perch at the kitchen counter for extended periods of time, maybe not the best choice.

BEAUTIFUL CHAIRSI looked online for MONTHS for the perfect bar stools for our counter height newly renovated kitchen. These are absolutely perfect, and a bonus = THEY SWIVEL! They were easy to assemble and love the thickness and sturdiness of them. These are not cheap chairs. Super great quality, durable, solid base, evenly balanced legs.The only thing I don’t like is some of the PVC leather is wrinkled in some spots where they pulled it to stretch it. You can see this on all the chairs on the top arm part. I would have sent them back, but my husband wanted to keep them, despite this flaw. And this is a dense cushion, so not the most comfortable. But they are stunning, solid, heavy chairs!

Beautiful, Sturdy, Comfy and RoomyI bought these barstools looking for something a little more sturdy and comfortable than my previous smaller white ones that had adjustable heights. I am soooo much happier with these. All of my guests and roommates have found them to be comfortable to sit in and they go beautifully with all of my brushed stainless steel. I’m extremely happy with my purchase. I don’t like to spend this much money on bar stools, but they were a perfect fit. I highly recommend them! I didn’t rate ease of assembly, because my roommates put them together, but they didn’t mention having any issues putting them together. To be safe, my roommates added felt sliders to the bottom of the bar stool feet, but it’s quite possible they would have been fine without adding the extra padding – it was just an extra precaution to protect my wooden floors.

Perfect height for our kitchen islandWe actually tried a couple different barstools for our new kitchen island area. My husband is 6 ft. tall and I’m 5’2″ so we discovered there were some issues with that. He needed a seat that was deeper and I liked the one that fit me perfectly! We settled on this one when I discovered that I could put a chair pad against the back and now it’s quite comfy and I love it, and my husband loves it without the pad! It’s perfect for everyone. It’s very modern looking and goes with my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. It swivels great, has a perfect rail for your feet to prop up on. And the metal part of the armrests sits below the island so it won’t scratch or chip your island! These were all things we researched when trying to find the perfect barstool! It is also much sturdier with four legs than the ones with just one pole in the middle. I highly recommend this chair. We bought four for our island and will be ordering the higher ones for our bar area when we get that completed!

Looks great in our new lounge!These chairs are visually appealing and very easy to assemble. The downside is that the base may rock and tip over if you’re not very careful. They are fairly comfortable and compared to the ones we looked at in high-end furniture stores that were similar I feel like we made a good purchase. I looked at items that were similar to this that had sturdier bottoms but we’re $700ea. I Purchased six of these and everyone seems to love them. Not recommended for small children as I do believe they will tip over if you move around too much.

Poor Quality and Customer Service Don’t buy from this Vendor KART IT!!The chairs were not what we expected, the color was off (ordered gray but they have a green tint to them in the sunlight, not a true gray) and the inserts in the bottom of the chair ‘feet’ wear out very quickly, within less than 30 days, which then makes the chair “wobble” when sitting in them, not stable/unsafe. We ordered 6 chairs but only opened up 1 to ‘test’ it out before opening the other 5 chairs. When we first requested to return the chairs we were refused (look our for ‘buyers remorse’), after getting Amazon involved we finally have been approved to ship the chairs back at our expense! KART IT (the 3rd party involved) would not prepay the shipment, which is going from Ohio to CA and have only authorized returning 5 out of the 6 chairs as they stated that the 1 chair has been used. If the manufacturer really stood behind the quality of their product there should be no issue in returning the chairs at their expense. I was going to look for different chairs from this manufacturer but due to this very unpleasant experience (going on for 3 weeks), I would never buy anything from them again. Returns should not be this difficult or at the Buyers expense.
