    Bar height is a stretchWe wanted to replace a bar height cafe table that was chrome and black with something a little more modern. This fit the bill in that it matches the current decor better. But, I wouldn’t really call this ‘bar height’. My standard for bar height is a table you can either sit or stand and use comfortably. This is probably about 4-6 inches lower than that, but taller than a traditional height table. You could use this table while standing, but will have to bend over a bit to do it.We intend to use this as a game table, when my wife doesn’t have work spread out, so four chairs were a must. And, for that purpose, will work just fine. You could use the chairs as pairs on the long side. Or it would also be possible for four people to sit, one to each side, and comfortably play that way too. When it’s being used to hold work items, the chairs stow away completely under the table and out of the way.Overall, good value, provided you have the right expectations.

    Great looking setThe set is just what I needed for my kitchen. It looks great, and I like that the stools can be pushed under the table when not in use. My only complaint is that the stools are quite uncomfortable. The seats are completely flat, and their square shape makes getting on the seat awkward. I wish the seats were round. I’ve purchased seat cushions for them, which helps. Now I need to figure out a way to attach them so they don’t slide off.

    Just okSmaller than expected, but ok. Stools are NOT STURDY at all. Everyone in family is well below the weight limit for stools and still these stools are not sturdy enough. Price is cheap but so is the product.

    Love this little table!Bought this table for my mom’s new tiny apartment. It’s the perfect size for her even if she has a guest. It was also super easy to assemble! We will use the stools as plants stands since she sits in her Walker. We will put the plants on the floor if she has company or I want to sit at the table with her.

    cute table for small spacesstraightforward assembly – but it is a bit tedious. be sure NOT to tighten screws until everything is attached and it will go smoothly. otherwise holes won’t align correctly. took me about 45 mins on my own.well packaged and protected. the box is heavy – 40’ish pounds so be prepared.very sturdy. stools are hard so you may want to shop for cushions (there are styles that have side straps to hold them on) this table is great if you have limited space.the black has powder coating on the metal frame parts and the stool and table tops are smooth.i’m very pleased with this set. perfect for 2.

    Love the table, but i hate the chairsreally a nice table, but the chairs are not comfy, and are kind of cheap feeling. Im rating thjs product 3.7. If the chairs were better, i would rate it a 5….If you have pub chairs that are comfy, dont throw them away..you will need them
