Great quality!!!Bamboo gives this shoe rack a special look, and it’s also very steady and solid. Anyway, the scale is perfect for my regular size entrance. Nice one!

missing partsminor parts missing (pads for legs were missing) but bench is sturdy and looks great

BeautifulI love how this looks in my Great Room. I wish it had been deeper because the shoes will keep the doors open unless you put them at a slight angle but otherwise it’s great.

Not quite as good as it lookedWe really liked the shape and the fact that it’s made from bamboo. We thought the bamboo would make this a stronger product, but it’s a bit shaky. Easy to assemble. The cushion is hard, but OK just to take your shoes off.

Sturdy bench but there are PROS and CONS.I’ll start with the “PROS”:Bench is sturdy and will serve the purpose we purchased it for which is a storage place for bathroom cleaning supplies and a place to sit when drying off after our shower. The wood is a nice finish and color.”CONS”:1. Assembly. For two people (and this does take two people) who have earned our PHD’s is flat box furniture assembly from Ikea, this was a night mare to put together. The tools supplied are inadequate. In addition to the small wrench, you will need to have: a better wrench or ratchet screwdriver with the correct wrench bit; clamps to keep the top from flopping open during assembly; a drill for the pilot hole that were never drilled; and a flashlight to see the screw holes inside when attaching the doors.2. At this price point I would have expected matching wood plugs to cover the 10 open screw holes on the end pieces and plastic bumpers to keep the doors from slamming.3. The online photos DO NOT show the metal advertising plaque on the front of the the bench. It does not look like a nice piece of furniture with this stuck on the front and it is embedded, so cannot just be removed without leaving a raw wood hole on the front. We addressed these problems with matching contact paper to partially camouflage the holes and to cover the backside of the plaque before reattaching it. But this should never have been necessary.4. The cushion may work for a mudroom because it is the color of mud, but the fabric is cheap and ugly.Overall while it is a nice looking piece (except for the advertising plaque) that will serve our purpose after addressing the issues above and reupholstering the cushion, I think it is overpriced for the quality. This is NOT a $200 piece of furniture.

Challenging assembly, middling material, excellent triple-threat designI spent more than I normally would because of the unique design. It is a shoe rack/storage bench/magazine holder in one. With limited space, I’m a sucker for dual, or better yet, triple-purpose.Since I upgraded from a cheap ~$15 shoe rack, at first glance I was mildly disappointed by the material. In fact, it’s indistinguishable from my cheap one; the grain looks artificial and it feels like some sort of cross between particle board and plexiglass. Plus it comes poorly packaged with some pieces floating loose. The first one I ordered arrived damaged and the second was no better packed, though fortunately arrived in-tact.Assembly was also fairly arduous. For the end-pieces, you place wood dowels in one end and on the other end you place little spring-loaded plastic dowels intended to snap right in. They did not snap right in. Another problem was that the tool included was way too short to finish the job once the screws got past the lip. Fortunately I had a better one in my arsenal. Finally, I was very surprised to discover that there is no depression for the cushion to sit in, so the only think holding it in place are the side pieces. If you open the storage area, you have to hold the cushion in place with your hand unless you have it flush against a wall. I used some velcro strips to better secure it. I also agree with others that the color is quite bland, but at least it goes well with everything and all tastes. That said, it is accurate to its product photo if you look closely, looks like a higher-quality piece at a glance, and is reasonably sturdy for “budget” furniture. The instructions were relatively-clear, if insufficient, and the English was good but for stopping mid-sentence in some non-critical instances. And again, I really like this particular design; it packs a wallop in both form and function that I couldn’t find among competitors.

Super easy to assemble, sturdy, looks greatWent together really easily. I highly recommend a ratchet screwdriver with a bit for these screws. Much easier than with the tool provided. Otherwise, it went together easily. The instructions were good enough, maybe not great. It looks really nice and no surprise deviations from the photos in the listing. Personally, I have this by my back door by the garage, so I’ll never use the magazine racks and would rather bought a model without them and saved some $, but whatever, they look nice.I can get 4 pairs of men’s shoes (size 10) on the shelves and a pair of boots in the bigger slot. I don’t think it has the height for my wife’s rain boots, but it will fit hiking boot height. The bench storage is perfect for a little whisk broom I bought for dirt that gets tracked in (it is in a mud room, after all) and other smaller items, like gloves, keys, etc.The cushion wiggles about and I’m constantly putting it back in place. I may just pitch it and sit on the wood bench. It’s not like I sit there long enough to need to get comfortable, plus it’s kinda in the way to open the bench lid. Just a minor annoyance, but not enough to deduct a star.Overall, I’m super happy with this purchase. We just moved in, and this was one of the better pieces we’ve bought as far as assembly and feeling like I got what I was looking at in the ad.

Great productThis product is very well made and comes wellPacked. The instructions were very good except it did not explain one shelf left or right and if you choose wrong, you need to disassemble and reassemble fir the doors to close. Also the company emblem should be on the side and not on the front. Other than that I love it. Perfect , well designed, my shoes fit and it holds me up nicely. Great shoe bench.

Perfect for the space. It replaced an old piano bench.Seat height is perfect for sitting for shoes going on and off. Comfy too and attractive. Doubt we’ll ever use the sides as magazine racks.
