Love it!We definitely felt like we were taking a risk by purchasing this bench seat, since there were no reviews, and not much detail in the description. However, we’re so happy we took the risk, and we’re thrilled with the product! For anyone who may have the same questions as I did: The seat is approximately 29″ high, which means that it fits perfectly at a bar height (NOT counter height) table or bar. The back part of the bench is 41″ high, which comes just below the top of our 42″ table, so you can hardly see it when it is pushed in. This is good for us, since I was concerned that it was going to be too big and bulky. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that it’s not bulky at all. It is not huge, but it will comfortably fit two average-sized people (weight limit is around 400 lbs, I think, so be cautious of that). The color is pretty close to what is shown in the description photos (maybe a slight shade darker, but not really noticeable), the silver grommets look great (they go all the way across the top and down the sides), and the tufting in the back adds so much character. The color of the wood base is very similar to the photos, as well. The fabric is polyester, which makes it very easy to slide on and off of the bench… your clothes aren’t likely to create any friction. Finally, it is very heavy and sturdy, not flimsy in the least bit. The only things we’re going to add are those little felt pads to the feet so it can slide better when we try to pull it out from the table, since it’s very heavy and the feet are just solid wood (doesn’t slide well and would definitely scratch hardwood floors without the pads). I think the only complaint is that my husband (who is very handy) said it wasn’t easy to assemble. But once assembled, we love it! And since they make matching swivel barstools, we’re going to go ahead and pick those up now, too!

Nice, but can be hard to assembleI’ve put together countless furniture and home improvement projects. This thing was painful because the 2 screws per leg did not thread well. A couple of them were very very difficult to thread in, had to bust out a bunch of tools to accomplish. The basic tool they give is not a good experience. The last screw for the leg got stripped just as it was almost at the end…frustrating.The actual bench is nice, firm and pretty perfect for our counter and 2 people although 2 large people won’t fit. It’s acceptable for the wife and I or perfect for me and a child.

Beautiful bench!This bench is beautiful! I purchased it in gray not knowing there was a beige version on here as well…bummer (I would’ve gotten the beige one. lol). Regardless, it looks great!! It was very easy to put together and it is very good quality and sturdy. I was worried it was going to be flimsy but it’s not at all, and the seat is firm which I like. I only knocked off a star because the threading is not complete in a small area (if you look at previous reviews, this seems to be common with this bench). It’s only a small area though, and it’s not noticeable unless you point it out so I’m not requesting a replacement.

Absolutely gorgeous!I have a pub height dining table and needed this for a bit of extra seating. I wanted something that would look elegant and stylish but be functional. This fit those marks perfectly. I do need to take about an inch off of the legs as it’s just a touch too high for my table- but I knew that was likely when I ordered. The piece appears to be sturdy and well made and was a cinch to put together. My kids and I use it daily and it is holding up perfectly so far (we’ve had it for about 6 weeks). I am so glad I ordered this- for the price it is a quality seat and I would happily recommend it to others.

Great BuyI bought 2 benches for my counter area. So the assembly was a piece of cake I handled that on my own. The foot rest will loosen over time. We have had our for about 5 months and they are moving quite a bit. They are very firm and after 5 months of daily use they are squeaking a little you can hear the springs squeak when you sit or when you stand up from the bench. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase the quality is great for the price and it completely transformed my counter space. **Quick Side Note I cut the legs to fit our counter height, just as some other reviewers did and it didn’t compromise the quality or functionality of the benches just shortened the height to accommodate our area.**
