Overall satisfied with this deskI am very please with this desk. I originally was going to build my own, but realized that I don’t have the time or space at the moment so finding this desk was the perfect fit. If put together properly the desk is stable and has enough desk space for my laptop, monitor and writing space. The color is slightly darker than on my monitor, however this can be many factors to why the image appears different online than in person. Consider that you are shopping for something online and your monitor calibration may be different and you are not viewing it the same as the product photographer as well as under the same lighting. There was a slight problem with the back piece on my order as it arrived lose and cracked, however this didn’t bother me as I was going to remove it and rebuild it to install a power strip inside the desk. With that being stated the only part of the desk that I feel needs to be better quality is the back panel. This is a thin particle board panel that is stapled in place. The staples are viewable and not visually appealing. If you are placing it against a wall this should not be an issue. If you are not you will need to do some modification to cover the stables. However, this could be only an issue on this particular desk and others may have been built differently as this is the only one I have seen. Other reviews have stated that the drawers are tight. This is the design of the drawer guides, so that the drawers to not open once closed. Overall, I am very please with this desk and if you like a mid-century influenced style, this desk is a good choice.

Great desk. Terrible drawers.I love my desk but it is definitely over-priced. The look is great and it’s a good size. The drawers are a total pain. Super shallow, super hard to pull out, the track/pull mechanism is super tight so you have to yank them out which is not ideal. At first I thought the reviews were exaggerating but after using it a few times it becomes evident that the drawers are poorly designed. I’m going to have my carpenter friend look at it and see how to remedy this.

Great looking but cheap for the price tag!I was so excited to get this piece! It was a breeze putting it together and it was super awesome looking. I saw cheaper ones than this piece but did not want to purchase them thinking they were low quality but this is right there with them but with a higher price tag! The first day assembling it, I saw the leg of the chair got scratched from just having the chair touch it. So I stained it so it wouldn’t bother me but sure enough, the other leg started peeling off!! Really? I would think this would at least happen a couple weekes down not the first day!! Not a great value for the high price tag!

Better quality than expected and simple assemblyThe quality was better than expected for this price point. Assembly is simply screwing in the legs… nothing more. Solid wood legs and drawers already installed. The only wish is that the wood feet had rubber feet or even a shim adjustment. Simple fix to add.

Beautiful little desk but with 2 downsides that is good to know before you buy.Beautiful little desk but with two downsides:01. very shallow drawers. I mean very shallow -> See attached picture02. drawers a bit difficult open since it is thicker than normal. There is these double enforcement of thick wood at the opening of the drawer. Not sure why this is so -> See attached picture.

Simple, nice, rather sturdyLegs a bit wobbly over time and need adjusting but otherwise, nice product. Prior reviews noted drawer closing with difficulty. It appears to have been resolved as the drawers on this desk close quite well.

Nice DeskThis is a great little desk! It’s solidly built, has a beautiful finish, and easy to assemble. It arrived sooner than predicted. My only complaint is the drawers. They are very shallow, only 2 1/2 inches deep, and you have to put extra effort into opening and closing them. It’s not a deal breaker. I’d still get this desk again.

Mainly because everything isn’t perfectly squared off, like it wasn’t made by a machine. But that’s okay. It adds character. The moment i opened the box, I could smell the wood and stain. I will say it’s a tad smaller than I expected, but it just gives me more room to put other things around it ha. The photo i posted has a 27 inch iMac on it, to give you an idea for scale.

Highly Recommend if you are looking for Mid-Century DeskThe desk is beautiful, solid and sturdy…just as described! My only negative comment – one of my white drawers came with a stain which looks like a blue ink that I’m unable to remove. I’m not sure if I’m able to open a replacement drawer – didn’t see an option under the product order or details.
