It’s beautiful but…It looks beautiful but…It’s much stiffer than I expected. It’s actually very hard on top! There’s some give to the foam, so I think that over time it’ll relax and soften a bit. Around the sides, you can feel the edge of the wood underneath the “cushion”. One main reason for getting a tufted ottoman was for the safety of my little ones, so they wouldn’t have another piece of furniture to bump into and hurt themselves on. This ottoman does not serve that purpose. We’ve already had an injury and it’s only been a couple weeks. The wood itself is also sharp at all 4 corners, but we plan on sanding those down. All in all, for the price I paid I think it’s worth it, and it does look nice. Exactly like the pictures. (I purchased the charcoal one) Just don’t expect a soft cozy ottoman.

Beautiful and solid!I was nervous purchasing this ottoman for our new home as there weren’t any reviews posted yet, but I’m so glad that I did! It is very large and rock solid. And less expensive than similar pieces I had found that were smaller and not as heavy/solid. My husband said it was a breeze to put together as well: just screw in the legs to the top and bottom and you’re done! The color of the fabric is a little more blue-gray than the charcoal-gray I was expecting, but it is still beautiful and will go well with our living room color scheme.

Dimensions not accurateThe color of the wood and the cushion are really pretty and exact match of the picture shown. The price is good for the size and quality it seems. But I am pretty irritated that it is 2 inches shorter than what was listed. This is the second ottoman we have purchased thats dimensions were not accurate from the description. That was the whole reason we returned the last one. I don’t have the energy to disassemble and return this one based off that but a 2 inch height difference on an ottoman is not a small mistake on measurement.

Looks nice but concerned about longevity of fabricSeems solid and most of it appears to be solid wood. But the upholstery fabric seems insubstantial. I scrubbed a stain off with a washcloth and the fabric started to pill. It’s also already loosened in spots. I’m otherwise happy with the purchase but I imagine it will need some mending after I’ve owned it a year.
