Car seat for the officePackage came damaged during handling (see photo) but upon unpacking the interior was packed well so I didn’t notice any damage or problems assembling the chair. There were a few smudges and fingerprints that somehow skipped quality control, but nothing a spray and wipe down can’t fix.The assembly is extremely super easy. Put in the lift pin, put on the five wheels, screw on three Allen screws (M5) on the base seat with the back cushion. You could assemble it in 5 minutes or less if you knew where they all go out of the box.As for the chair, it feels like a typical fabric car seat. Bestuh is a major office and furniture brand company in Asia, however it appears to have a light reach on the western economy. Bestuhl’s website advertises that the material is made from the same design as Korean car components so you know what you’re getting into with this chair.The back mesh is see-through, but just barely. This will be useful on hot days compared to using a leather office chair.There are three adjustable functions under the seat – one for moving the chair up and down, one for lumbar adjustment, one for moving the seat cushion inwards or out.The lower back rest has an adjustable plastic bar that can go up a few inches, which personally wanted it to go a little higher. The headrest can also be adjusted a few inches vertically, but unable to adjust the angle.We bought this chair for the ability to adjust the seat depth, which is getting harder to find on chairs priced in the $100-300 range nowadays.

Quick installOkay first and most, I ordered this on Thursday and it arrived Sunday. Second the delivery driver was real nice, and placed the big box on my wagon so I can carry it up. Third he apologized for the box being torn but it was like that he said when he picked it up. He was instructed to deliver it anyway. It was not his fault. I appreciate him acknowledging the torn box.The install took 15 minutes. The chair looks great in my little space. The seat could be a little more thicker but it will work for now. I will give a review in 90 days.Little on expensive side.

Always the best chair!I have been using two Bestuhl J1 in Korea, and have been very satisfied with them. My problem with other brands is usually that the cushion ends up being too soft, so I sink in and my sacrum starts to hurt. I never had that problem with the J1. Although it had no reviews in the US, I gave the J17 a shot. And to my surprise, it’s almost the same chair as the J1! The cushion is also firm enough that my sacrum doesn’t hurt, the lumbar bar is straightforward and very supportive, and the entire built of the J17 is sturdy and strong.Although this brand seems to not be very well known on the US market, I can highly recommend it. Bestuhl easily beats similar models that are priced double in design, stability and comfort. Thank you!* This is an independent review without any affiliation to the seller.
