Most Features Most People Want all in ONE Chair.There is little as comfortable as this chair. It has a full seat with sufficient padding that anyone can sit on it and feel comfortable. The arms are placed perfectly for me other family members even though our heights are about 8″ different. Body parts do not actually touch the sides of the seat area and the seat is firm enough to be compelling comfortable. The little notch in the front of the seat arms permits the chair to be moved closer to the keyboard but be careful about leaning back with the chair close. I have caught the drawer several times and think I have it resolved now.Overall, it is a pleasant chair to look at. The Oxblood Vinyl looks like leather and so far it has not become a “hot seat” as many vinyl chairs do. The wooden star pattern sure is attractive and classy looking. Reminds me of days gone by. When I push my lumbar region deep into the seat I feel the lumbar support and that is a major positive feature. At first, I was disappointed about the modestly short back height; however, I really do not need that additional height to lean back on and fall asleep when there is so much that needs to be done. It has an effective rocking lever just under the seat. Adjusting it will manage the tension on the seat but be careful for the first few times. It could tip over if too much weight is placed beyond the center of gravity too quickly. Overall, this is a great chair.I was disappointed to receive a damaged box but all the contents were in perfect order. The instructions consisted of a single piece of paper that said put this in here and place this on this. That is somewhat abbreviated but that is all that is necessary to have a working chair. This is the CAVEAT! Decide exactly where you want the chair before any connection is made with the three pieces. I began the process in the garage by taking the seat and legs out of the box and then the connector. It has a name but I forgot what it is called. Cancel that last sentence and call the missing piece a GAS LIFT. Sorry, senior moment. My spouse suggested that I move it inside before connecting the seat to the base. O.K. Inside we went. Whoops. It took expert experience to get it from the great room into the office’s 30″ door opening and 30″ door. Without the door it would have fit but I did not want to take the door down and so forth. Bottom line. Put it together in the office and no where else. It is comfortable and I like it.

Looks GREAT But Hard Seating May Be An Acquired Taste for Some!First off; Excellent Kudos to the designers for thinking of the customer and making the assembly quite a snap! All major components already put together and all you do is drop the main seating top potion onto the already assembled Legs/Lever base….and you’re up and seating! Even the rollers are preinstalled!Having said that though…..the seating is indeed pretty HARD as some have noted in past reviews, but hopefully will soften overtime. Biggest complain however is the fact that the chair DOES NOT recline which I believe is a definite MISS by the designers! With the depth of the chair quite substantial (which BTW is not a bad thing in my books!)……it would’ve been wonderful if it had decent back support. Finally at 5′ 11″, my neck is almost 6 inches dangling off the top, so if you try to relax into the chair, there really is no head support unless you are a bit shorter.All in all, a ‘fairly decent Home Office Chair’ purely for the aesthetics; plus you can’t beat the special price I paid during one late night browsing in Amazon!UPDATE; March-4-2021;Well I’ll be dammed; turns out the Chair ACTUALLY RECLINES which makes me very happy! :). As I was messing with the Chair to raise it to a comfortable height, I inadvertently felt it recline thinking it was falling over…..Apparently the same lever used to go up/down, DOES PULL OUT for Recline functionality!So, I have upped the item an extra stars in fairness! Great work guys!

The Most Exquisite Comfortable Chair For The MoneyI don’t normally write reviews. But when I do – I hope they matter. In reality what we want is a chair that feels like you are sitting on a kings throne. You want to feel comfortable, at ease, and not only that, but you want your throne to feel sturdy and make you confident in the materials. This chair, does all that, but more. This chair costs only 300 and some change, but every single part about it is definitely worth it that cost. Why spend more when you can own luxury only a king can feel!? Well now YOU can feel it too and you don’t have to spend 1500 to have true luxury. I am a computer programmer for a living, and I spend 12+ hours in my chair: this is the chair I chose and I LOVE it. I look at it and it’s brilliant. I sit in it, and it’s so comfortable. Yes, I understand the seams may only last a year, or 2, and I’m okay with that because this is what I want and need right now. It’s PERFECT. Don’t even hesitate. It’s awesome despite the minor stitching issues – if you are over 250 lb maybe choose something else. . . but only because of the quality control issues. I’m in love with this Chair, and you will be too! This is coming from me – someone who hardly ever writes a review. Trust me. It’s awesome and SO comfortable once you adjust it to your liking. ENJOY ! I do, every day and night !

Much Better In Person . . .I’m upgrading my home studio a lot earlier than expected, however a flood hit my apartment complex pretty hard and I was forced to move all of my office and studio equipment so I thought, I may as well get a new chair to go with my new studio desk!! Easy to assemble, not as heavy as I thought it would be, comfort is “Ok” but I think once I break it in it would be better, there’s a tilt feature but I can’t get it to tilt so I decided not to loosen the bottom knob too much more because of my fear of breaking or damaging it. Aside that, great addition to my new and improved office. – jj

5 STAR CHAIR W/ 1 STAR INSTRUCTIONS & “CUSTOMER SERVICE”The chair was very poorly packed to start. The packing looked like it had barely survived a tornado, so I was happily shocked that the chair was undamaged. I opened it on the spot before accepting delivery. Assembly instructions (drawings) are general and incomplete and should include detailed written verbal instruction. They should indicate the necessity of tools, especially an allen key. The “instruction” sheet includes the BOSS “Customer Service Hotline” #, so I called for more specific direction. The person who answered told me to leave a voicemail for the person who could help me, but I never received a return call. I LOVE this chair. It’s so beautiful and comfortable and the faux leather doesn’t look cheap. The quality and beauty of the chair for the price are so good that it deserves 5 STARS, but the 1 STAR instructions and BOSS “customer service” bring it down to 4. It would have been lower if the positives weren’t so strong. Again, I LOVE the chair.

Love itLove! Love! Love! It’s so big and beautiful! I was so worried about how I was going to put it together but the suggestion to put the chair on a flat surface and put it together upside down was genius as I assemble it by myself. It was a very straightforward process: insert the bottom piece into the hole and turn upright. I have it near an open window and do notice that dust does tend to gather on it but that’s the only problem I’ve encountered. The plastic material should be protected just like with leather as it can be marked and marred by sharp surfaces so you may need to place a throw blanket over the back to help prevent accidents.

Excellent boss chairImposing and regal; this is an excellent chair for bringing a bit of decorum and gravitas to your office space. The seat is a bit odd (somewhat like sitting on an exercise ball) which is the only reason I didn’t rate it 5/5.

Longevity/Long term wear is NOT goodPurchased in Feb. 2018: When we first got this chair thought it was very nice, rolled easily and seemed strong. Easy to put together with good instructions too. HOWEVER, about 2 to 21/2 years in the seat started splitting along it’s seams till now the bottom seat is an absolute mess. So we really only got 2 truly GOOD years out of it though the rest of the chair still seems sturdy, it’s appearance is appalling!!!!

So far, so goodThe box was open and crushed in many places. However, the chair was not damaged. Firm but comfortable. Have only had it for two months but so far, so good. I do wish it had a higher back to rest your head.

Worth it!I’m so happy I bought this chair. Some people were saying it wasn’t comfortable but I’ve found, after sitting in it all day, it’s VERY comfortable. I’ve also read some people saying it’s to high but I’m 5 foot and I haven’t found it inconvenient. It adds so much class to my office, it was super easy to assemble, and I believe it was worth it. And to anyone wondering, it does recline :D.
