Nice big work areaThis desk was not the worst thing my husband and I assembled but not the easiest either. It would have been nice to put some words around where some of the connections go so you didn’t have to guess. Also, they send you a piece in case you get the return section even though you didn’t order it. Oh well, it will make a nice shelf after I get some brackets.As far as looks and being sturdy, check and check. It looks good and it is sturdy. I am really happy with it so far.

Awesome desk! Looks great and easy to assemble. Solid all around.I am always scared to order large things, especially furniture, off of Amazon. Some reviews said the produce came damaged or something, but that wasn’t the case for me! It arrived in good shape and once opened there was nothing wrong with it.It is quite heavy, so have it delivered to where you are going to set it up or have a friend or somebody help you move it.At first, when you open it and look at all the holes/pieces and instructions, it’s overwhelming. But it looks like these pieces are built to actually be able to work with 3 different styles of desk, hence all the holes/instructions. But upon further review I only needed half of the tiny assembly pieces given and your own screw driver. And for the unused holes, they have little pieces you stick in there that blend with the wood. So you can’t notice anything at all.As I said it’s a bit heavy. I assembled it myself it maybe 45 minutes. I’m a younger guy though so if you get achy joints, are older, etc, maybe have somebody help. But it shouldn’t be too bad. Instructions are very clear and you won’t be left scratching your head.It looks awesome assembled. The color is great and it is very very solid. i spent days on Amazon looking at different desks, measurements, reviews, etc and chose this one. i am not disappointed at all. I love this desk and the work surface is big! Plenty of room for my legs to move and to slide up from each side to work at different parts. Just looks very simple and sleek. I am very impressed and happy.

A good value, could be a bit sturdier for its weightThe desktop is pretty thick and heavy but it isn’t as sturdy as I’d hoped, especially near the center front where there is the least support.It went together pretty well, getting the desktop attached the sides and privacy panel is challenging due to its size (particularly the 70″ model). Having a second person help is recommended.I was a little disappointed how many extra holes have to be plugged with little plastic fillers. This is something I expect from consumer level pressed fiber board furniture from Walmart, not business furniture. Clearly these extra holes are there to support many different models.

Just what I want, but problems with shippingI have been using a desk whose top measures 27×48, and it was just too small. This desk is exactly what I wanted. It can be very simple, with just the ends, modesty panel, and top. Or you can add stuff to it as you like.The problem: The package seems to have been dropped on a corner, and the desktop in that corner was damaged. The material around the edge was scraped and the “was-wood” innards of the desk top were flaking. The whole package weighs in the neighborhood of 140 pounds, making drops by anybody who handles the package more likely. And there is barely any protective material inside.I wrote to Cymax, the vendor for this desk, and reported the problem. Today is day 15 and still no new desk top. Cymax has been very good about answering my many emails. They are pointing the finger at the manufacturer, Bush. It is reasonable to assume the problem is Bush’s.Moral of the story: It’s a great desk. Be prepared to wait for replacement parts because it’s very likely to arrive damaged.UPDATE (9/5/2014): I’ve had this desk for 4 months now, and I love it. I can put put two flatscreen monitors and two laptops on the desk at once and still have room for papers. Just what I wanted. One extra note: I found I needed an extra “porthole” in the middle of the desktop near the back edge, so I went to Home Depot, got a 2.5″ hole saw and a nice little plastic thingie to go in the hole. I also built a 3.5″-deep shelf into the modesty panel as a track for cords, “wall warts”, etc. Now it’s almost perfect. Still 3 stars, due to the shipping problems.

Damaged on delivery, could be packaged betterSlightly Damaged on delivery, Luckily The corner damaged in my set up won’t be visible but was damaged none the less. 2nd product in 2 days delivered by federal express with damage.would be 5/5 if it was packaged to sustains delivery without damage

Solid Quality for the PriceI bought one of these before in our old home. It is solid. Perfect open space underneath so no bumping knees etc. This one fits my office perfectly and holds all the monitors I need for work. Excellent bargin.

Wonderful customer service and qualityMy boyfriend ordered this desk in the Hansen Cherry a little over a year ago and absolutely loves it. When looking for a new desk for myself the only difference i wanted was color because I have a natural cherry bookshelf in my office and this was a perfect match. So after finally making the decision to retire my folding table i was using as a desk, i ordered. This desk arrived sooner than expected. However, the top was split across the whole width and I was concerned, because it was the underside, that the structural integrity may be compromised. Although it arrived damaged I’m giving 5 stars because after a short phone call a replacement top is being shipped out tomorrow. Bush’s customer service is top notch.Update- replacement top arrived in perfect condition. Even after waiting for the replacement piece and ordering it on Thursday before a holiday weekend, the desk is in use a week before the original expected delivery date. This is definitely a 5 star company and product.

is this bulletproof?First of all, a special shout out to whomever actually delivered this tank to my door. It is heavy affff. The desktop portion itself is at least 50 lbs. For being the fabricated wood or whatever it is SOLID and feels like it could stop a bullet. It is very easy to assemble in spite of that, most of the work here is unpacking it and disposing of the packing material. The gentleman who carbon fiber wrapped his was my main motivation in upgrading to this beast and boyyyyy howwwwdy amm I glad that I did so.

I freaking love this product!!I needed a big desk that was sturdy/heavy/easy to clean off and boy did i get it it was shipped fast and it was super heavy 160 lbs +. But now i have plenty of room (72″ legth 30″ depth) to keep all my monitors keyboards and text books on top so i can do all my homework / and utilize all my computer needs at same time with out having to manage surface space every 10 secs. For the price its a no brainer. GO FOR IT!!

I love the large desk setup and the color is exactly …I have had this desk for sometime now, it was a breeze to setup. I love the large desk setup and the color is exactly what I wanted. When I leave a coffee cup, or a water bottle, on top I do get rings on the top of the desk, but its not that big of a deal since it easily wipes off. The cable management holes on the top of the desk are a great addition. I use the left side of my desk for my computer and the right side for any utility work I have to do, such as a writing space, or working on electronics. The depth is perfect for me for my monitor. The height is great for me as well. No complaints with this desk, a great purchase.
