Looks cool, design issuesThis desk looks very cool. I like the metal frame a lot and the wood looks pretty good on top.It was pretty easy to assemble, but I’d recommend using your own allen wrenches if you have them (a socket set would be ideal).The return is attached to the desk with wood screws. This is in contrast to all of the other fasteners that either go through the wood or attach to pre-fitted sockets. The wood screws are a weak point and the return is not solidly affixed to the desk. It’s a poor design that I expect to fail over time.The desk is also not as solid as I expected. I have a medium touch while typing but even so the whole desk begins to shake as I type. I’ve gone through and checked each bolt and they’re all well tightened. So it’s not that.I must say after the reviews I expected a more solid platform. I may still be able to work with it, but I’ll likely have to figure out a way to make it a bit more stable. I don’t think the return will last however due to the poor integration.

A++ FurnitureThis furniture is sturdy and very heavy duty. It was well packaged and there were no missing parts. The quality and finishes are nice all around. It did takes quite some time to assemble but I think that speaks to the quality, Instructions were excellent And they only tool I needed was a screwdriver and the provided Alan head wrench. Shipping was also faster than I anticipated. Very happy with my purchase.

If you’re looking for a gray desk, this isn’t it.I was really excited about this desk due to it having a larger surface area than most. However, when I received it, I was disappointed to find it wasn’t as “gray” as I expected. The description says it’s “Rustic Gray” but it felt very brown overall to me. The seller’s photos make it look much more gray than it actually is. The legs in the seller’s photo also look silver but they’re bronzish colored. It was packaged very well and came in two boxes but it was not the color I was looking for. I felt very deceived by the description and frustrated. My rating is only due to the fact that the color description was misleading. The return went smoothly and it appeared to be a good desk. I wish I could have used it to find out if it was as good as I think it could have been.

It’s a wood veneerOrdered for my girlfriend, because it had the “industrial/farmhouse” look to it. She didn’t like it because it’s a wood veneer top (smooth, so it’ll work with a mouse). She wanted real distressed wood. It was easy to assemble, and seemed sturdy enough. Just wasn’t what we were looking for. Returned w/o any hassle, although it comes in two boxes — the main desk and the “return” side piece, both which you can buy separately. If you wanted, you could build a “megadesk” with the available options, though.

Great deskIt was a little damaged during delivered, but it is a big item and the delivery guy was probably not very happy carrying it to our doorsteps! Other than that, great desk! Looks slick.

Heavy duty, great lookVery heavy, sturdy desk. Fairly easy to put together. One box (it ships in two separate boxes) came with a great big hole torn through it and the surface of the large part of the desk had some minor superficial damage to it. Overall, though, the desk looks great and I’m happy with my purchase.

Great Simple Desk!This is my daily at home work desk and it has held up great! There’s a slight counter difference in height counter where the two pieces meet but that could have just been my assembly job! Love the style and simplicity of it!

Love this product!Hubby said this was so easy to assemble and I love the look and style. Very spacious, able to have 3 monitors and laptop on the desk and still have lots of room to write. Now I have to get the rest of the set.

SturdyEasy to assemble, packaged well, no dings or broken parts. The screw heads are raised of the top, and the top appears to be a thin veneer.
