The Magic Hands Man –
It broke my internet, I almost died, and now people won’t leave my houseAlright so I read the reviews and I know what was up. The vanilla version of this with just the normal amount of foam is NOT like the pictures. As for that guy who has a video of him breaking the foam with a brick I have no idea what happened to him. I received this giant package, with an inner and outer liner. I also purchased an additional 30 pounds of foam.Adding the foam was… a messy process. I got it though. Then I started letting this thing puff up in my office, it was too big. Holy cow it was big. I am a large man and can say 2 of me could fit comfortably across the whole thing. The first day I tried to use it and roll it around and it managed to snag my fiber wire for the internet and snap it because it was so large and so heavy. Also it wasn’t particularly comfortable the first day or 2 and I thought I had just wasted a bunch of money. So I get my wife to help me move it out of my office into our family room. Then I almost died.Have you ever tried to move an unconscious person? Or someone who is trying not to move? It’s like that. This was now around 100 pounds of pure “I ain’t movin” in a bag. We struggled to get it through every door frame and hallway, sweat pouring into our eyes and me just body slamming this thing. My wife starts to lose it because I look ridiculous pelvic thrusting this thing through the small hallway into the dining room. After about 30 minutes we finally get it to the family room. I thought I was going to die from working out so hard.So the next few days we roll it around and after about 7 days its totally fluffed out and now the most comfortable spot in the house. You will fall into it if you fluff it like a pillow, it’s still heavy you will may need help. Then you can sleep like a champ. There wasn’t space in my office for it but I do recommend it for a big room. You can get three adults on it comfortably. Now there is a new issue. People come over to hang out and they don’t want to get up or leave. They just lay there and ignore whatever social function was supposed to happen because it’s too awesome. We got some pillows and a queen sized sherpa blanket and now people literally wanna stay the night and ask about moving in.So if you want to invest the time, the extra money for foam, and prepare yourself for a workout. You have a badass talking piece that you can literally sleep on for the night.

Better bed than couch at 3+ yrs on 8′Product fluffed as it should, imo. No hammering required. wth dude?I will say this, it could use more foam, but it’s like 80lbs already, do I really want more. Can I handle it?In truth, it’s a terrible couch. Can’t hold the shape, has to be fluffed too often to keep thick, etc. However, it’s a fantastic, amazing bed. Comfortable and supportive. Especially if you’re single or cuddlers. My hubby & I use it as a matress, recently put it on two twin box springs (king size). And even though we’re not cuddlers, we LOVE it!Buy it as a Bed, not a couch.Smaller one works just fine as a chair… 🙂

Not enough scrap memory foam filler includedIt’s definitely not enough scrap memory foam filler included. I had to purchase extra from another seller, without the extra the bean bag was FLAT. Even after purchasing an additional 10lbs it still wasn’t enough so I bought a smaller bean bag cover 7ft (from another seller) and used that to put over the filling which worked perfectly, so the bean bag is well filled now and sits up like the advertised photo.

WonderfulFirst off their customer service was wonderful and quick! The chair is huge! And soft and perfect. We are ordering a bit more stuffing so it holds up to the wear and tear of big guys spending all day in it but it’s perfect!

Good Product But Be Prepared……To Buy More FoamThe quality of the cover is nice. Soft, comfortable, and durable. The inner liner is also well made. A double zipper ensures the foam will stay in the inner liner. The liner seems strong and unlikely to tear. The bean bag is BIG and three adults can easily lay on it. I am very satisfied with the quality of this item. However you should absolutely plan on buying more foam. The listed package weight is 135lbs. I estimate 120-125 of that is the foam that is included. As you can tell from the second picture, the included amount does not fill out the bag and you will sink to the floor. With 50-60lbs extra, you’ll have enough for a soft but fully supported bean bag (very similar to the product photos). If you want a firmer bag like we did, you’ll need to go with an extra 80lbs. As you can tell from the first photo, 80lbs fills out the bag quite nicely. If you want a super firm and maxed out bag, you might try for 90-100lbs extra. Keep in mind the more you pack in there the more stress on zippers, seams, etc.Be aware that once you open up the inner liner there will be a mess, although not nearly as bad as what I was fearing. With some basic caution your foam mess won’t be too bad and you can vacuum it up pretty easily. Again it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it could be. One other thing to note, you should probably set up your bean bag wherever you intend to keep it, as it is heavy to move around once filled. Both the included foam and surplus foam are shipped in a compressed state. Do not attempt to help the foam decompress until AFTER the foam is in your inner liner and ZIPPED UP or you will have a bigger mess. Once in the inner liner, you will need to knead the foam with yours hands and fingers and break up big chunks. Your hands will tire out quickly, but this helps the foam expand faster.Pros:•This thing is HUGE! As advertised!•Very comfortable!•High Quality!Cons:•Have to buy your own (supplemental) foam•Adding foam is a bit of a pain•Extra foam increases the total cost of ownershipOverall I give this product 3 stars. It may seem a bit harsh considering how much I like this product, but buying and adding your own extra foam is a pain. Its true that this bean bag is a bit cheaper, but the cost of the (necessary!) extra foam bumps the true price up into the $700-$800 range. Generally I would feel better about buying from this seller rather than an unknown, because the quality of this product is high, which is the most important thing. Therefore I DO recommend this item *IF* you are willing to take on the additional costs and effort of buying and adding the necessary foam to properly fill out your 8 foot bean bag.

LOVE these! We got two of the giant bean bags and we LOVE having them. They could definitely both use some extra filling as there is quite a crater in the middle of both. That is the only reason we gave fours for comfort and support, because it needs more filling. But over all they really are quite comfy! It helps to fluff them often at first, so dont forget that step. My son loves having movie nights on the bean bags.

From someone who was super against itI checked the reviews after my husband got it and was worried about stiffness and inability to inflate quickly. It was a little stiff at first, but nothing like some of the reviews had said. We had a guest opt to sleep on it like a bed for a few weeks and he loved it. He relaxed on it all day as well. Our cats sleep on it too, and I originally was worried about their claws poking holes. It’s relatively durable and I have yet to see a single opening (3 kittens). It also doesn’t use those little beans that older bean bags use, which is a relief. We own a Temperpedic bed or whatever, the one that goes up and down for sitting. I wake up every day stiff with back and hip pain. But I can sleep on this bean bag with zero pain and sleep through the night. We didn’t buy extra padding and it sits low, but not low enough for a dude who was 200-300lbs to hit the floor.Super freaking comfortable. I was super against it, but now I’m a huge fan. It fits two large adults or one adult, one child, and 3 cats. Love it.
