Poorly madeEach top section moves and falls into storage area making it impossible to even put feet on. It started about 2 months after purchasing and has only gotten worse. I would not recommend for the money.

Thin faux leather, came rippedI really was looking forward to owning this ottoman, based on the online photos and reviews. It came yesterday, packed in only one thin carton, not adequate because of its considerable bulk and weight. The carton had a hole (apparently torn) in it, and the leather on the base of the ottoman looked as if it had been sliced. For the rather hefty price, this piece should have been manufactured with a material that is more than paper-thin, and packed much better to insure against damage in shipping.

… apprehensive about spending so much on a coffee table like this oneI was initially apprehensive about spending so much on a coffee table like this one, but after seeing it in person, seeing the quality, and smiling while my friends and family kept ooh-ing and ah-ing at it during a party we just threw, I can say that it was worth EVERY penny! So glad I bought this one and not a cheaper table made of subpar inferior parts and materials. The trays on top are just brilliant…we often take them off and lay them on our laps when sitting on the couch when eating a snack or reading a book. The option of flipping over various combinations of trays to accondate drinks and dishes is such a nice feature….but the quality of the materials is what puts this over the top four me. It looks and feels really well made. The storage space inside the compartments is more than adequate and while I found the size to be larger than I expected, it works just fine. If you are looking for a functional and fashionable quality piece of furniture then look no further, this table rocks…oh, and by the way, I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old and some careless and sloppy family members; this table has been able to withstand them all!

Awesome storage!Overall I like it! It is a very VERY dark brown and has a little shine to it. The quality is way better than one I had purchased before (made by Simpli) and returned. It took about a week and some to come in but it was expected. It is comfy enough to sit on it. The storage is AWESOME! On the down side though, it has a smell to it. I am going to air out overnight for the next week hopefully it gets better.Mine also came with some minor damage on the leather. A corner is chipped off and on one side there’s chipping too. The packaging left tape on one side too so now there is tape residue. I plan on wiping it off with some baby oil. It is too big for me to deal with a return so I contacted Amazon and got a partial refund ($58). Figured it is something and saves me the hassle of taking this huge box to UPS. For the amount of money I paid it should have not had any damage at all (reason why I took away 2 stars).

Nice storage unitThis arrived in a timely fashion and the box was dented a bit, but everything inside was safe. It is very dark and has a shiny sheen to it that you can notice when it’s against our leather couch. There also was a strong odor to it, so I left it opened up out in the garage for a couple of weeks to air it out and it’s better now. It’s great for storage – 4 small compartments – and as a foot rest. Wheels would have made it better and maybe we will add them later.

Excellent, high quality ottoman with lots of storage space!This ottoman was such a great purchase! It is made well and looks really nice in our living room. I searched several local furniture stores for something like this and did not find one, and they weren’t even able to order me anything comparable for this price. This one is very high quality and made of real leather. There is a lot of storage in the 4 sections under the trays. The color is on the dark side, as other reviewers have mentioned, so know that it is quite a dark brown. I have seen that other buyers received their ottoman damaged, but this was not the case for me. It arrived in good condition. Overall an excellent buy.

Great purchaseIt came quickly. The box was pretty damaged, but no damage to the ottoman. I did a ton of research before purchasing. I wanted something nice, but not $1000 and not cheap looking. This definitely fit the bill. It looks really nice – it’s definitely dark. Almost black, but I knew that so it was alright. Perfect for extra storage and no sharp corners for a toddling 1-year old to bang into. Only downside is that the inside smells when you leave the tops on for a long period of time. I’m not ready to store anything in there because of that. I take the tops off at night and let it air out. Eventually, the smell should dissipate.

Satisfied with our purchaseThis ottoman was what we expected. The color is darker than what the picture shows, but after reading reviews from others we expected this. I love the four sections for storage; it’s perfect to hide the kids toys before company comes over! It is very sturdy and we can sit on it without worry. It is a great purchase for those with toddlers as it provides increased safety compared to coffee tables. The trays on the reverse side are also very durable.

Love the function and style of this ottomanLove the function and style of this ottoman. If the exact color matters to you though, it’s definitely more black than espresso…The first one that was shipped came damaged, with small rips in the leather at the seams and corners. Amazon replaced it with no hassle. The replacement came with only minimal damage (scratches/chips in paint on the trays), so after reading the reviews I knew this may be as good as it was going to get. I’ve had it for several months now and it has not incurred any additional damage even though we use it a lot!Would still recommend it for the price.
