Reviews dont lie when they say its SHORTFirst off I am Very pleased with the look, condition, and feel of this bench. The material was fitted nicely, the hinges and other parts worked properly, the storage space was nice and has room for blankets etc., the feel of the material of this bench was super soft. The height from the floor to the top of the sitting cushion is more like 14 1/2″. The comfort was fine. It has some padding, but it’s just not thick enough so you can feel the board a little when your sitting. And no, I’m not a heavy gal. I’m 135 lbs and 5′ 1″. The bench however is really short even with MY height. The reviews weren’t kidding when it says it was made for a child. It was too small for even me. I have bought some 8″ legs that are arriving today. This would bring the sitting height close to the height of a standard kitchen chair. I think once that is added I could have then given 5 stars. Not sure why the company doesn’t add 8″ legs since most have requested that it needs more height. Simple fix in making a great product.

Great priceThis is exactly what I needed, esp for the price. I just wanted something for my bedroom to put under the mirror on my wall where I could put pillows from my bed at night when my bed is in use. I saw this on Wayfair and it was much more expensive. So happy to get it for this price on Amazon. It was easy to assemble but the legs don’t all face the same way when all put together. It does sit very very low, but that didn’t matter to me. And as far as the legs, where I have this in my room, you really can’t tell. I also wanted it to keep a couple of extra throws in so it works for that.

I am completely happy with my purchase! I had read some negative reviews about quality so I wasnt expecting much for the low price. So when it arrived and I unboxed it I was wonderfully surprised! It was light enough at 33lbs for me to get up the stairs on my own but its wee little legs and sturdy seat support my big booty with no trouble! Here are the aspects I was most impressed with that I would have wanted to know before I bought it (it wouldnt have taken me so long to decide XD): 1) it is SUPER cute and looks just like it does in the picture! 2) its material is described as velvet and its color is described as ivory. Both of these are accurate and the material seems so posh. Oh i really like this thing. I petted it in the video so you can see what its like. 3) the workmanship is MUCH better than i expected – the storage lid doesnt have to be held up, it stays up on its own. The threads on the screws were protected by rubber nubbins, among other extra care in packaging – it really shows they cared about the customer when they put it together, 4) it is SUPER short but that feature and its arms are part of why I bought it. My bed sits lower than the ones in others’ review pictures AND a little dog can more easily jump in the bed now and the arms add a little barrier to prevent falls. 5) the storage is ample and the hinges seem to be pretty strong on the lid. I didnt try dragging it around by its lid or anything, but when I sit down on it there is no wiggling at all. It shuts snugly. You cant really tell its there. 6) its width is just a bit shorter than the end of a queen bed so it looks super cute there. 7) it comes with extra washers in case one of the legs needs balanced – again showing thoughtful customer care.TLDR: Low-priced fancy, adorable ottoman. Great craftmanship. Cute, wee little legs. Better than I expected. So glad I bought it!

Needs 8” legsI don’t typically complain in reviews yet will be honest. It’s gorgeous but the legs as in many reviews are way too short! Bought 8” to replace these and they are perfect. Pic shows the new legs. Needs better packaging. Second one was broken at the hinge when it arrived. They canceled my order before it arrived the first time and second shipment went up in price and was broken. Disappointing. Third time it arrived in good order. I hope they take reviews to heart as other reviews said similar things. The shape is beautiful and hard to find so still worth the extra cost of legs and price is okay but not great for the inconvenience.

Exactly what I wantedThis came quickly was easy to put together and is the perfect color. My bed is 31 inches tall so it looks a little shorter than it actually is. Very sturdy and holds my extra blankets and sheets

I really like the bench.I like the bench. I like the fabric and color. I didn’t realize how short it would be. I ended up buying 4 longer legs for it to make it an appropriate height.
