Seat size is misleadingOkay, I will start with the positives. The chairs are above average quality from China. The finish and packaging was well thought out to provide maximum protection on its voyage. The seat upholstery seams look good and overall quite clean. The assembly was approximately 20 minutes per chair. One of my chair legs required me to tap the threads in order to clean up the threads to allow the bolt to be threaded. I am close to the maximum weight for the chair and they feel very sturdy and pretty comfortable. They included screw in rubber feet that allow you to adjust for uneven floor.Now the cons:The seat measurements on the listing are a bit misleading. In the first picture you can see the overall front of the chair is close to 21 inches wide. The mid point of the seat width is barely 15 inches. As for the depth of seat anyway I measured it I was unable to get 18 inch’s of depth unless I included the 2 inch back. I hope these measurements and pictures allow future buyers to feel better about their purchase.

Beautiful and easy to buildI love these chairs, we got them for my kitchen island and it was a perfect fit. The build was fast and easy and it’s way more comfortable then I expected. The back could be a inch or two higher, but still worth the money.

Sturdy and nice quality but not so comfort was expectedLiked color match, beige and black legs. Study structure and easy to assemble. Some review mentioned fabric had some stain or dirty but mine were ok. I like this semi tall back support. But seat is too stiff and back support is not so much comfortable than I expected.

Very nice, but cheap woodWe love the way they look, but I had to use epoxy to get the legs to stay together because the wood is, as usual, cheap, crap wood. The screws immediately pulled out of the wood when any pressure was put on them. Other than that, they’re beautiful.

These are really nice bar stools.These are really nice bar stores. They look as if I paid a lot more than I did. My only suggestion is to scotchguard them because the material can easily be stained.

Almost perfectArrived on time and undamaged. Assembly wasn’t super difficult but the angles on some of the holes make it more time consuming to fasten. Me and my handy 14 yo assembled both in about 45 minutes. Then my 5 year old discovered that some of the brads on the back were not secure. “Your chair is broke mommy” is not what you want to hear after just putting them together. Also could be choking hazard for younger children. Used a little super glue and so far it hasn’t come loose. Definitely suggest waterproofing before assembly or immediately after.

Very hard to screw legs into seat with Allen wrench in little space to maneuver screws.Looks great. Very hard seat that does not “give” any when sitting, so like sitting on a hard surface. Back not comfortable, so not supportive for people with low back pain/issues. Very hard to assemble because the screws are hard to get to under the chair bottom when attaching legs. One of the predrilled metal screw receptors underneath the seat was missing, so 1 of the 8 screws in one seat could not be screwed into one of the legs. We just assembled without it and hope the one screw on that leg will hold it together. I had searched for counter-height bar chairs, so assumed that it was the right height for that I needed. It was too high for our counter high bar, so we asked a friend (who had a compound miter saw) to cut off 4.5” off the 16 legs. Because all of the slider tacks could not be removed without breaking, had to get 4 more slider tacks to add to the bottom of the 4 legs of one of the stools. Thought about shipping back when we realized it was the wrong size (too high) for our counter height bar and because one of the metal screw receptors was missing, but because we were able to successfully have the legs cut off at the correct angle, was happy with the final result. Swivels nicely.

Get what you pay forGood for price.However, I purchase four chairs. Two of them were broken.One had a broken frame. See my photo. Instead of returning it (I needed the chairs for the holiday) I secured the break with anetal plate I had to purchase for this purpose.And another of the for chairs was defective in that one of the four sides to the base plate was upside down. This forced two legs to slant in opposite directions, making the chair useless! It took me ten minutes to come to the conclusion that the base was manufactured incorrectly and let out the door for to poor quality control.Again, I needed the chairs for the holiday so I sawed off the incorrectly manufactured base side and reglued and rescrewed it on in the correct direction. this was a temporary fix so that I could use the chairs for a few days while company was in town.When I went to return the chairs I did not get an option to have them replaced. I really don’t want to have to disassemble these chairs and repackage them in such a big box for a return in order to get new chairs.Hopefully Amazon and the manufacturer is listening and they can contact me, please contact me, and just send me two new bases for the chairs. Two new bases would fix the two issues with the two bases that are shown in the photos.Other than all these problems the chairs have been good so far after about a week of use.
