Great chairI got this chair to use as my new office chair. It’s a little lower than the typical roller chair one may use for the desk, but it’s high enough that I can reach my keyboard without issue. The color is GORGEOUS (teal) and the fabric is very soft. It is so soft that you slide right off the chair if you’re not careful. The legs of the chair have plastic tacks, so all the weight would be distributed onto these plastic tacks instead of a flat bottom – we simply popped them out. These may cause damage to your floor since the weight would be placed on those plastic tacks instead of the bottom of the chair leg.Overall, a gorgeous chair, comfy and just what I was looking for.

I love this chairI love this chair so much! It’s absolutely gorgeous, soft, and comfortable. As others have noted, it is a bit slippery, but that doesn’t bother me. I will probably end up getting some pillows for lumbar support.They were fairly easy to put together, took maybe 20-30 minutes each. It was easier to tighten the bolts with a second person, to make sure the chairs were even.The only weird thing is we ordered 2 chairs, and while they look the exact same, they’re slightly different. The bolts on them were different sizes, with different sized allen wrenches. The cushions are a different firmness, with one of them significantly softer and more comfortable than the other. I can see how people who only got one of the firmer cushions wouldn’t think the chair was as comfortable. I put the softer chair on the side I plan on sitting in most often in, and I’m very happy with that.I’m so happy with how they look, they’re gorgeous chairs.

Not Exactly Cobalt, but Beautiful Nonetheless!!I panicked when I saw the huge box being unloaded from the truck thinking the chair would not fit my tiny LR. (I’d cleared a space for it adjacent to a bookcase, with its measurements in mind, far in advance of its arrival.) So, I was both relieved and delighted to find that, although a little tight, it fits the space! In fact, there’s room to shift the bookcase a few inches to the opposite side to allow it more room. As for the color, it’s closer to navy & certainly darker than what the picture conveys and not the brilliant cobalt I’d hoped for. Thankfully, however, this is not a deal breaker because it is an EXQUISITE chair. I am so thrilled with my selection after weeks of considering all the options. I could never have imagined owning such a lovely piece of furniture for less than $300! The look of it brings a level of coziness to the room for sure, but also stateliness– if that makes any sense. And at 5’7″ I can rest my head as I settle in with a good book. The seat is firm, but not uncomfortable in my estimation. The assembly was pleasant and I did it by myself with no assistance as a 66 year old woman and without the benefit of a bare floor (the instructions caution against assembling on a carpet). My sole complaint is that the thin lining underneath the seat was found to be ripped, upon receipt, along with the broken zipper to the compartment where the legs & hardware were packed. Not a big deal since no one will see it & I’ll simply stitch it closed with needle and thread.

Super comfortable chairGot this chair to replace the one I had stationed in my office/craft room. Holy cats, this thing is so comfortable. There’s a slight arch in the back that has helped improve my posture and lean back more (instead of hunching over my phone or laptop). The fabric is so soft and the teal green color is just as luxurious. My only complaint is I do build up a wee static charge when getting up, so I’ve been trying to remember to touch something metal so I don’t get a surprise when flicking off the lights. If it becomes more than a mild annoyance, I know I can get a slipcover for it easily.Assembly was relatively simple as it was just attaching the legs to the bottom of the chair. I would recommend assembling it in the room you intend it to live in as we had to do some “furniture gymnastics” to get it through the doorway to the room where it currently resides.The cushion does come off for vacuuming/cleaning and secures with 2 Velcro strips so you and the cushion don’t slowly slide out of the chair base.In conclusion, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this chair to any of my friends or family looking for a new “favorite chair” for their home.

Pretty chairIt was shipped quickly. The blue velvet upholstery is very classy. It was not very easy to put the legs on and I had a friend to do it for me. It’s small and not very comfortable. It has to have a cushion for your back. It slides on waxed floors so I put it on a rug.

Beautiful chair; our cats fell in love with these chairs within minutesBought 2 of these for our living room and they are perfect. Kudos to Amazon as these chairs are exactly as described AND, the delivery guys were exactly on time and delivered them right into our living room.They look great. The seat cushions are pretty stiff, but I expect them to loosen up as we will be using them every day.Followed the assembly instructions exactly and it was easy. They are very stable and feel solid under my 230 pounds.The reviews about how slippery the fabric is are accurate. But that too will likely change with daily use.For the detail oriented people who read this, the bolts that hold the legs in place fit perfectly. I’m not used to assembly parts fitting together so well. I expected to have to push and pull and twist to line up the holes, with the base and then struggle to tighten the bolts. Not the case! Every bolt went in smoothly and I was able to screw them all the way in with my fingers, then just a few turns with the Allen wrench to finish…couldn’t have been easier.

Not a comfy chairIf you were expecting to have a piece you can relax in, this is not the chair for you. Velvet is so much less practical than you’d think. Adding a foot stool helps with the feeling that you’re going to slide off on to the floor. The cushion is sturdy and firm, not uncomfortable but does not cradle your butt. Also the color does not match the picture. It’s definitely navy blue. Mine arrived with a hole in the front but returning it is too much of a hassle. At least it looks great if you don’t get too close to see the hole. Might be good for one of those sitting rooms you don’t really use.

LOOKS GREAT!I agree with most of the reviews that state:Chair is not the most comfortable, but looks GREAT! I added a small pillow for lumbar support. ALSO: The seat cushion IS VERY STIFF! Hopefully it softens over time.Overall I’m satisfied with this purchase because IT LOOKS GOOD!
