GREAT Table! Just get *Really* Tall Chairs…Looks beautiful and is solid. Aligning all four legs at unique, exact angles as you connect it to the base plate requires a MIN 5 limbs to successfully orchestrate, so ask for help for that part. ;)And yes, it is QUITE tall, so get seats with at least 30′ seat height, if not taller…I’ve installed balancer extensions to my 30′ seat chairs to add about another 1.5 inches, and that seems a sweet spot.

Fantastic table but correct alternate assembly instructions.This is a really nice and heavy table. It was packaged very nice and easy to verify all the parts were enclosed. However, others have written how easy it was to put together and I going to say it can be easy if you pretty much ignore the very directions they say do exactly how we say. So I’ll add a few tips here so your toes and shins ont suffer the fate of mine. First lay out the parts and identify which screws go where. Next lay the legs arrow side up a,b,c,d hand written on one of the top edges and not necessarily all on the same end. A and C lay the same way B and D the same but opposite a n c. So the alernate then glue in dowels. Btw once glue hit the arrow sticks they begin to dissolve and if you take too long u can lose track. Btw have a helper. This is the big difference to the directions. They say connect abcd and stand upright. Don’t do this lie this. Take the black base glue and insert the 4 dowels then temporarily stand the legs upright on the base now glue and screw the particle board top base. Carefully flip over and secure the bottom. Do all this on the card board box they shipped it in as to not scratch. Now take the top lay it face down and overlay the base section on top and secure with 4 bolts. Your done. Trust me if you follow the directions enclosed will be at your own peril. Other than that great table. Would have been 5 stars but those directions are so stupid they had to lose something.

Assembly is easier if you deviate from the instructions included with the tableI read many reviews and took the advice of someone that suggested assembling the table in its side, one leg at a time. My opinion: DO NOT try to assemble upright by gluing all the pegs in the legs of the table first, then attaching with screws into the base. I attached leg A to the base with the screws, then placed leg B on the peg to connect to leg A, then secured leg B with screws, and so on, all with the table lying on its side, the legs laying horizontal to the floor. I was able to easily assemble the table alone in less than 1 hour. It’s a heavy table and looks great! Keep in mind that it’s bar height, a bit higher than I anticipated, but my bar height stools work nicely.

Aesthetically pleasing and sturdy!I’ve had this table on my “save for later” list for a long time. I was hesitant because every review I read stated how difficult it was to assemble. Well, I will never rely on reviews related to assembly because clearly my husband has skills. He threw out the instructions and just used common sense. From start to finish he was done in 30-45 mins. And I didn’t have to help him!

Love itYes it is 42 inches tall so taller chairs are most likely needed. Also directions state to place all 4 legs together then attach to top and bottom pieces but it is easier to attach one leg at a time to top pice then attach bottom piece then add tabletop. All that said the table is a great value and it looks great. We did not encounter damaged or missing parts. Handyman and helper assembled in less than 1 hour. Very happy with result. We generally push up to wall for 2 to 3 people and pull out more for 4 persons. Great table to stand up to for drinks or sit with extra tall chairs

Sturdy and SubstantialTable is a PERFECT compliment to our kitchen/family room area! It is every bit of 42 inches high (has a presence, so if room is smaller, beware). Assembly definitely requires 2 people to hold bar top support to secure legs! Took about an hour in total. Good value for the money!

BeautifulBeautiful table, not difficult to put together but the legs are tedious. Pretty strong, does wobble a bit due to the the legs being centered instead up holding up at the corners. It’s a great table. I think it works best for home with all adults, could be too tall and dangerous for young children.
