Sweet Dreams are made of these…..I just bought an older 2 Story Townhome with a narrow staircase and never thought about trying to get my Queen size bed upstairs…..The movers were unable to navigate the Queen boxspring upstairs. I NEVER knew they made Queen box springs in 2 pieces!! I ordered from this company because of Free Shipping with Amazon Prime. They arrived via UPS 2 days earlier than forecasted, which made me have to sleep on my Son’s twin size trundle for a lesser amount of time BONUS! The box springs are about 25 lbs each and easy to carry upstairs by a Mom and 10 year old. This worked perfect for my needs!! My only complaint is that Amazon provides instant shipping updates with the Amazon App which is ONLY available on Android devices…..REALLY? That does not help this Iphone household! My existing Queen Size bed frame (with a support beam up the middle) worked fine, did not need to purchase a special one.

Very Fragile; Poorly BuiltThis queen size split box spring is made of very fragile wood and is poorly built. After placing the split box spring on my bed frame, I realized the bed frame was facing the wrong way (the part of the bed frame to attach a head board was at the foot of the bed). So I slid the box spring off the bed frame (which is not high off the ground) onto my carpeted floor so I could turn the bed frame around. That little plop off the bed frame onto my carpeted, not even tile, floor was enough for the wood slat to break at the head of the box spring (see picture). I examined the break and honestly this wood looks like the kind of wood used for boards that young children break in karate classes. The wood isn’t even that thick. It’s definitely not strong and sturdy as the product description says.Also, box springs are called box “springs” for a reason. This box spring has no springs or metal supports of any kind within. It’s just a layer of cardboard on top of the flimsy pieces of wood running across the box spring without anything underneath them to support them. It’s not a box spring; it’s just a hollow box wrapped in cloth. Given how fragile the wood is and the lack of supports, all of the flimsy wood slats running across the inside of this box spring break with use. Bottom line, do not buy this split box spring because, while it may fit up your narrow staircase, it is far too fragile and very poorly built.

Great frame for the money!So far so good. Came in two separate boxes and easily fit up the stairs. They are kindof high off of our bed frame which was already high so little old me at 5’2″ has a hard time getting into bed now! But that is not the product’s fault. Worth the money and great if you need a replacement due to a too-small staircase which was the problem for us. Oops! Quality is average, not the best, but far from the worst.

Great basic split box spring.This was a perfect solution for our narrow staircase. This was exactly what I expected from a basic wooden box spring. The two pieces fit the queen frame perfectly and feel pretty sturdy for the price. I weigh 230 lbs and have not noticed any sagging, creaking, or any other issues in the two months we have been using these. Packaging was more than acceptable and they were delivered much faster than projected.

the wrapping on the box springs is not the best quality, but with the low profile it sits …These work for me. As noted in some other reviews, the wrapping on the box springs is not the best quality, but with the low profile it sits level with the bed frame and can’t be seen at all. Sleeps just like a regular queen box spring.

first two nice were great and my back pains subsided greatlyProduct arrived in a timely manner and was packed well.first two nice were great and my back pains subsided greatly. The third time was reading and kind of hopped up on my elbow to set my non over on the night stand and was treated with a loud pop and a slight dip where my elbow was. Turns out I snapped the ( 1/2″?) board that was under my elbow. Since this isn’t a coil spring and target a leaf sping you should be careful about where you concentrate weight. It shouldn’t be too hard to repair but it is quite frustrating.

very convenientVery happy with the product. Quite convenient for upstairs moving, and also fitting in a truck when you move! I will mention that the bottom covering could have been stapled more evenly without many long gaps and very short gaps. I just re-stapled before use.I used with a memory foam mattress.

Perfect Purchase!!Because we live in a 100-year-old house, the stairway opening to our 2nd floor bedroom was to short to get a queen-size mattress started up the stairs. For one bedroom we utilized a built in place platform for the mattress. In the second bedroom we didn’t want to do that. The split queen box spring was the perfect solution. The product is well built and arrived right on time. If we ever have need for another set we will certainly order from this company again!

but nothing fantastic. It does the job thoughThis split foundation did the trick allowing us to fit both pieces around a sharp 90 degree turn from our stairwell around the corner intothe bedroom. The quality is okay, but nothing fantastic. It does the job though; it came packaged well; was clean and didn’t have anychemical smells upon opening or thereafter. It holds up our heavy high-top mattress job fine.

Split BoxspringThis worked perfectly with my queen mattress and frame and most importantly fit up the staircase. My only complaint is that one of the boxsprings arrived with a large black mark on the side. We use a bedskirt so it’s not the end of the world but still disappointing.
