Real deal, nicely madeIt is a good chair. Real cowhide (it even smells like cow, that I hope goes away with time) it is a sturdy canvas on back and the seams seem to be well done. The only sad part is that the weight limit is 225lbs, so I have friends who are heavy bodies who I’ll have to note not to seat on it.My husband sat on it and he is around 210lbs and we heard some tear sound, nothing tearing maybe the fabric getting stretched.Also, when you stand up getting off of it the back legs lift from the floor, it is a lightweight chair.1 yr later… the chair ripped. Big tear from my husband carefully sitting on it once. We do not use the chair much at all. So, this is mostly for light people/kids/pets.

High Quality.I am very pleased with this purchase. However, the price has since doubled since I bought it. I would not have paid over $400 for it and therefore am not ordering a second one.

falls apartI believe the product would be worthy but the frame punctured thru the sewn arched radius of the seat This leaves it as useless. I at 220 lbs and my wife at 125 lbs amazingly had both covers rip on the same spot in the same night.Over priced….. and since I sepent 6 weeks away on work from the initial order I have missed the return window so once again the hard working person is screwed and just when I wanted to enjoy the pair I purchased. thumbs down to it…so I will sew it my self and bend and weld my own frame in order to utilize a $500 expenditure…
