Great Chair, Poor InstructionsThe chair looks great and seems to be of good quality. It was easy to assemble, however, the instructions were incorrect in two places. The part where the pole on the base of the chair connects to the underside of the seat of the chair; the instructions say to take off a cap before inserting the pole into the underside of the chair. After that, it just pops into place. THERE IS NO CAP THAT NEEDS REMOVING. This is false. There is a plastic piece at the top of the pole that look looks like the cap the instructions are pointing to. We couldn’t get it off, and tore it up trying it get it off with pliers. We finally thought “maybe the instructions are wrong and its not supposed to come off”. We continued the assembly and it fit together just fine. So just know that the instructions may lead you to tear apart something that is supposed to be there! Second, the instructions show the arms being attached backwards. This one is common sense because they literally cannot be attached the way the instructions show and it is obvious which way they go without the instructions. Aside from the instructions being completely wrong, we love the chair!

Sleek and Supportive!I decided on this chair because I like the color and the simple design – didn’t look too “office chair” like – I didn’t want a huge bulky office chair – but looked like it was supportive enough, and the price was right. The color is exactly as in the images (very warm and nice) and it wasn’t too difficult to put together. Put it this way – if you are good with figuring out how to put things together with less than stellar instructions, you’ll be fine. If you really need perfect instructions – have someone who’s handy put it together for you.It looks like leather, and while you can tell it’s not by the touch, it still feels nice. I’m 5’4″ and it supports my back really well – reaches my should blades if I’m sitting up straight. It’s easy to adjust the height and you can lock the wheels so it doesn’t roll as much. Such a huge difference from using a dining room chair – and it fits in well with my decor. Highly recommend.

Excellent Office ChairI was shopping for a sturdy and elegant office chair for my work room. This chair caught my eye on-line but was waiting for final judgement once I had it in person. I assembled the chair in 15 minutes. Fairly easy a child can do it. The chair is constructed of metal. A big plus since many office chairs are cheap plastic. The chair has a comfortable seat and an ergonomic back for support. The wheels are fine but I may replace them later. Not really a big deal. Other than this I am super satisfied with my purchase and well worth the price!!

GarbageI usually buy chairs around this price point, which I know is not the highest quality. However, I have bought some REALLY good ones that have lasted 3+ years that were even cheaper than this one. This one has been my first real disappointment.1. Damaged: It came with the vegan leather scratched off on one corner and has proven that it takes VERY little to abrade the material, leaving white glaring through. It also came with damage on the base — a quarter-sized dent in the metal.2. Assembly Issues: Half of the wheels were VERY difficult to pop into place and had to be banged in with a hammer. They are also very cheap, plastic, and do not roll smoothly like chairs I’ve bought in the past. The arms were also not properly lined up and so one is slightly wiggly because it cannot be correctly tightened into place.3. Poor Quality: The padding in the chair is very substandard. I’ve only had this thing a couple months and it is already permanently squashed down with a very obvious buttprint. (I am a 5’5″ woman weighing 156 pounds and have never had this happen on a chair.) Also, the pneumatic lift is not suitable for even my average build…it very gradually loses height over the course of a couple days and has to constantly be raised again. The style/look of this chair is nice, and so is the price. I’ll hang onto it as long as I can stand it. But do yourself a favor…find another chair. You can do a lot better.

broke after 2 yearsThis chair was initially great for light use when I was only working from home 1 day per week. However – with pandemic/working from home full time the chair unfortunately did not hold up (I am just under 150 lbs for reference). After a year the structure felt very off/compensated and it was permanently squeaking loudly (tried WD-40 everywhere possible to no avail). Purchased Jan 2019 and the base cracked/broke this week Aug 2021. Better of spending 2-3 times the price of this for a sturdier chair that will last more than ~2.5 years.

ComfortableIf you want a simple comfortable chair, this one is perfect. I like the looks and the cushion. The only thing I would add, there are no back lumbar adjustments.

Nice and solid. From set up to sitting in it, this is a great chair. For starters the seat itself is nice and thick. Time will tell how worn it will become and how fast, but from the outset it is nice and thick and comfortable. This chair’s frame is made of metal. In fact there is very little plastic altogether. Most chairs I have ever put together have a seat, a back and the arms as all separate pieces and when putting the arms onto the back and the seat you get what holds the chair together. This particular chair has a metal frame going from the seat all the way up to the top of the back, meaning the arms don’t necessarily hold the chair together. I briefly considered not putting the arms on the chair but decided against it as while the frame is metal I figured the rigidity would definitely be affected over time. At no point did they offer this as a possibility, this was just my own thought.Which leads me to the instructions. While the chair was easy to set up the instruction sheet is very lackluster. It does indeed get the job done but it is very basic. For starters on the left you have all the parts and how many of those parts you should have. On the right there are six pictures. Each depicting a part you should use and how it goes together. The funny thing is the parts in the pictures are labeled with letters like a C pointing to a part which is being shown where it goes, but there is no label telling you what these parts are on the left. In most cases this doesn’t matter, it is easy to see in the picture which part they are talking about. The only thing that gave me pause was which screws were which, and in the end it was easy to figure out, but I wanted to give you an idea of the type of instructions included. All that being said, for the price I don’t think I have ever gotten a better chair, in fact I have paid more and gotten lesser chairs. This one was easy to put together and it is solidly built and feels comfortable. If anything unforeseen happens or it wears out quicker than it appears it would I will come back and update this review but so far I can highly recommend it.
