This 30″ x 96″ Rectangular Folding Table has a .75″ thick plywood top and features an extremely durable Birchwood, hardwood surface with thick aluminum metal edging. This folding table is certain to withstand the test of time. Two extra-wide bolted wood runners are fastened to the underside and designed to allow for safe table stacking. The runners are secured to the table tops with flush fitting, flat head bolts and locking nuts. The heavy duty locking wishbone legs are constructed of 1″, 15 gauge tubular steel and commercial grade powder coating. This is a particularly good choice for party rental companies and other organizations that hold many events throughout the year.

Great Table With 1 ExceptionI am a solopreneur and needed a real wooden desk. I’m tired of dealing with particle board and the ridiculousness of assembling furniture. The problem was that a real wooden desk would be too large to fit through my narrow office door and cost prohibitive.Thinking about what I needed in a desk, I realized I didn’t need a traditional desk per se. I wanted a LOT of workspace for two computers, and quite a bit of audio equipment for my job. Storage could be handled by some short drawer units I already have. So, I came up with the idea of purchasing two of these tables (the wood is quite attractive and REAL) and positioning them in an L shape. In addition, I picked up the riser unit so I would have a two tier configuration on one of the arms of the L.This worked out fantastically! I LOVE my new workspace and the tables are extremely sturdy and I think the look very nice as well. I have a lot of equipment on them and have no worries about anything collapsing.That being said I only have one small caution on these tables, otherwise I’d given this unit five stars. As others have commented, the packaging is not exactly robust. As a result, I had some minor scuffs on the metal band around the tables and a single MAJOR gash in one of the metal bands about 1 inch long that is very noticeable (but I can turn towards a wall). As these tables live up to their name and are very heavy, it made no sense to return the unit. But, I did get in touch with Amazon CS and they gave me a modest credit that I thought was pretty fair.I highly recommend these tables but make sure to check the unit to see if there is any damage and if there is that it is something you can live with. I have suggested to Amazon, as I think others have, that the manufacturer needs to upgrade their packaging to equal the quality of the table itself.That being said I would buy them again in a minute, I LOVE my new “desk.”

Perfect for a sturdy college desk, cosmetic damage and strong polyethylene/chemical smell.Love the table, exactly what I was looking for. Below I will leave some pros and cons but first some quick thoughts. The desk is pretty much perfect for what I wanted, the only reasons I gave it 4/5 stars were for the strong chemical/ polyethylene smell that needs to be vented and off-gassed and for all of the damage to the table when it arrived. I don’t mind the damage at all but I was a bit surprised at how much there was even after reading the reviews before purchase.Pros:- extremely sturdy- perfect for a college desk- perfect size, extremely large- cosmetic damage doesn’t matter to me because it’s meant to be a desk that can get damaged.Cons:- polyethylene smell is unbearable when it first arrives and needs to be off gassed.- lots of cosmetic damage like chipped wood, bent metal, large scratches.- table support bars take up a lot of the under-table space so you can’t really put cabinets or drawers under the desk.- the support bars can be touch to lock into place and require you to flip the table over (also a pro though because I don’t have to worry about it falling).

Likely to get a little beat up in shipping, but it makes it okayPros:It’s inexpensive.It’s wood. ( Does not appear to be laminate )It has metal around the edges and nice painted legs.It’s sturdy for what it is. ( Realize it’s still a reasonably lightweight folding table, not a steelcase desk or so )Cons:Box it’s shipped in seems sturdy, but there’s no real padding in it. Even some packing paper in the front/back would likely go a long way.The finish on it has a couple of bubbles–if you’re the kind to nit pick.The surface has little metal caps that are basically flush with it where the hardware is mounted through. I actually kind of like the look but it’s not for everyone.What would make it better in the future:Better shipping. Option for a dark color, perhaps the same wood, just stained a different color at the factory before they put finish on it.

Nice Table, Terrible DeliveryWhile the table itself is good quality, the delivery experience with CEVA shipping was a nightmare and the integration with Amazon’s website was poor. When I bought the item it said it shipped on October 31st, yet the tracking number provided displayed an error saying it did not exist. It was supposed to be delivered in the third week of November. In fact, they did not even SHIP the item until the 3rd week of November and it didn’t arrive until December. When the tracking number finally did show up in the system it had bizarre and crazy entries saying it was in Tennessee, then 30 minutes lates in Texas then 30 minutes later in Tennessee again. AND now weeks after delivering the item, the shipping company’s automated phone service called me to schedule the delivery which was already dropped off weeks ago. Again, nice table, terrible delivery. Total time 5 weeks.

Very Well Made and Looks Good!!!The other reviews are right! This is a very nice, sturdy & heavy table. Looks good to me with the aluminum band and bright metal supports underneath. The wood support stiffeners/stringers on the bottom have curved edges showing that some thought went into the design of this table. The cardboard box the table came in was open at one end but only one end on the bottom edge at the curved part was a little rough. Maybe that didn’t even happen during shipping. I like the 6ft length and 30in depth as I am using it as a two computer desk. Three could fit with no problem even with 19in LED monitors. This table is staying up permanently so I am not concerned about the weight – probably helps make it even more stable than it already is. I’ll probably buy another to replace a temporary hobby work bench in the basement. Terrific to buy a well built product Made in the USA and is excellent quality!

Not for weaklings!I don’t understand how someone can complain about the weight after it’s clearly listed here. The first things you check when you buy furniture are size and weight. I knew exactly what to expect when I ordered.That said this is exactly what I expected.The only complaint is it was hard to lock in the legs, so bring a hammer if you have one or hit it with a heavy object like your fist.
