Nice chair but know what you’re gettingThe chair is good quality and looks terrific. There appears to be some confusion about the leather in the chair. Previous questions were answered when someone asked if the chair was leather. Most gave a one word of no and some said yes. According to other websites selling the same chair, this chair is made from LeatherSoft. What is that? According to an article on a furniture blog (yes there’s blog for furniture too), LeatherSoft is a high quality brand of bonded leather. Anything “bonded” sounds cheap, but I’ve learned there are different levels of bonded leather. I’ve recently purchased a recliner with “bonded” leather but I also have high end leather (top grain) furniture. It will be interesting to see what lasts longer!! According to the article, LeatherSoft bonded leather is made and manufactured. This means that each factory has a different recipe, and therefore quality can different significantly from one bonded leather to the next. Generic bonded leather has become the “Wild, Wild, West” of upholstery – you never know if you’re getting a good or awful recipe. Because of this, several manufacturers worked together to create a top quality bonded leather for their customers. They gave it the name LeatherSoft so that it would be recognized for its reputation as the leading bonded leather.How is it different than other bonded leathers?:More real leather used per square footAvoids unnecessary bonding agents that break down over timeSofter, and ultimately more comfortableWill not fade or flakeDoes not get hot like vinyl or low quality bonded leathersDifficult to punctureSo for the price, (which seems a bit high as you can buy office chairs for a lot less), you are paying for is quality and style. Since this is a working chair, one would think you want a material that has the characteristics listed above. Leather wipes, which cleans and conditions, is what I use to wipe down all my leather furniture as this isn’t my only white bonded leather piece in the house. I gave it 4 stars for now, but if it holds up well, it would earn a five star rating.

Captain Of The Starship EnterpriseThis is a fantastic office chair! I’m a photographer and spend many hours editing on the computer in the office, and I love every minute in the chair.It fits my needs but there are two things to note. Although it isn’t uncomfortable it’s very firm and not padded out. I don’t mind this at all, but just know it’s not a lazy boy or zero gravity chair. The second is that it is taller than most office chairs. I’m 5’8″ and my feet are exactly flat on the ground at it’s lowest setting. When raised to it’s highest setting my feet can dangle free in the air. I still love it but it’s great for tall people.It stands about 3ft tall, the seat portion is about 20in across and the leg portion is about 25in across from wheel to wheel. I’ve read things about the chair starting to concave or start bowing because its free floating stretched across a metal frame. I’m 135lb and have used the chair heavily for about a year and a half now and no bowing to be seen. It’s made of sturdy metal and crafted very well. So far no breaks, no tears, and no problems in all this time.I bought the white leather version which looks fantastic! It also doesn’t get as dirty as you might expect, but we are relatively clean people. It looks seriously great and I get many compliments on the chair all the time. Also is it just me or has anyone els noticed this same chair in every TV show and movie that has an office scene? If it’s good enough for Hollywood it’s good enough for me. I feel like the captain of the starship enterprise when I sit in it! Buy it! You’ll love it!

Great looking chair and better comfort than expectedBought this chair for my new home office with matching white furniture, and it looks perfect. It is true white, and not off-white or anything funky like that. My old chair was a big bulky executive chair with tons of padding and such — so this was a big leap for me. I felt a bit iffy about getting something with such little padding at first but after using it for a few days, I think I like this even better. The curvature and shape of the back and seat make it quite comfortable and natural to sit on. Also, even though the padding is thin, there is no hard surface underneath it so it feels a lot softer than it looks.One thing I have to note is that my particular piece had 2-3 minor marks on the leather. It came loosely wrapped in plastic and had misplaced foam padding for shipping so I’m thinking it was a return or a display piece. However they were pretty minor so I wasn’t too bothered by it.Update: So I’ve had the chair for exactly 2 years now, and I’m pleased to say I’m still very happy with it. The chair still looks and functions perfectly! The (p)leather material has held up great without any noticeable wear and tear. Photos added are from today so you can see how well it ages. Note that I don’t have any kids or large pets so YMMV.Update 2 (Feb 15 ’17): I’ve now had the chair for nearly 3 years, and it finally broke. The pneumatic mechanism to adjust the height of the chair has somehow lost pressure and it now rests at the lowest possible position (which is slightly too low for me who’s 5’10”). I’ve been very happy with it, but wish it would’ve lasted longer.

Amazing looking replica Eames chairThis is an amazing looking chair! Perfect for a MCM home, and great for a computer/desk workstation which is what I’ll be using it for.I bought this as a Like New Warehouse Deal. Unfortunately it suffered some vinyl damage from the loose metal seat-adjuster during shipping. But Amazon Customer Service, being awesome as always, rectified that very quickly. I elected to keep it, rather than return, and instead I’ll attempt a vinyl repair with a kit for those spots. I think it can be saved with a just a bit of effort.Beyond that, fully assembled and ignoring those spots, this chair is definitely high quality. This is not a cheap imitation, this is a very nice reproduction. The base and frame are highly polished plated sturdy, heavy metal, and look fantastic. The shape, size, and feel is virtually identical to the Eames original. It seats comfortably, with a great lumbar support built into its curve. The swivel, recline, and height adjustment all work smoothly, and it was a very simple assembly.I’m giving it a full five stars, even though mine had some issues, because it’s not the chair’s fault, and had it arrived perfect it would definitely be worth those 5 anyway.

A Review About A ChairFirst I want to start off talking about how great this chair looks. This chair looks great, I am serious. Prior to this chair I used one from a popular Swedish furniture company. After a few years it was time for a new chair and as I browsed through the choices on Amazon, this Flash Furniture chair caught my eye. After using it for a few weeks now, I can say that it is a good chair. This is a review for a chair so I am limited to what I can say about it. It does everything a decent chair is supposed to do. I just wish it could cook me dinner once in a while. The lowest height feels a bit high but I am 5’8″ and the lowest height is fine for me. I have pretty bad posture and this chair is doing an okay job of helping me sit properly. However, if you really need lumbar support, check out the HON 5701 Volt series task chair as it is here on Amazon as well. My brother has the HON 5701 and I can vouch for its comfort and great lumbar support. However, if you prefer the look of this Ribbed Upholstered Leather Conference chair, do not hesitate!

Definitely not an all-day office chair!I purchased this product with high hopes and for the price I paid, my expectations should have been met. However, while the chair is stylish and looks great, it lacks in key areas.First and foremost, the padding, if you can call it that, in the seat cushion is too soft and you compress right down to the hard base. A couple of hours in this chair and you will feel like you are sitting on a board.Second, the same padding, or lack thereof, seems to be the choice on the armrests. I have had several instances where my hands start to go numb due to the pressure on the nerves in my elbows.I definitely would not recommend this chair to anyone seeking an office chair that will be used. You are better off going to the local Staples or even Target and buying a cheap chair and it will have better support and comfort.Very disappointed and am not sure if Amazon will take it back or not, but will try.

It took me all of 17 minutes to assemble…would have taken less had I realized sooner that when installing the wheels, you need to turn while pushing and then they pop in effortlessly. I have used the chair today for about 5 hours at my desk and feel very comfortable. Other posters mentioned it lacked padding but I feel it is quite padded and comfy. It slides tidily under my desk since there are no arms. I would have given it 5 stars except for the color discrepancy. The description says WHITE. 4 of 5 people answered this chair is bright, true white. The one I received is NOT bright white. It is close, and might actually pass for white if not against something else that’s actually white. I own a white lacquer desk for which I was hoping this chair would be a perfect match. Unfortunately it is not an exact match. It is close enough that I will keep the chair because it’s so pretty. My only complaint is it should be described as eggshell, not white.

Simple and minimalistic lookGreat chair if you plan on sitting on it for a couple of hours at a time. For those working all day at home or office like me, it does get a little uncomfortable after a while. But I was spoiled with a ergonomic, gaming chair before purchasing this.The primary reason I bought this is for its simple and minimalistic look, which I like. I’ve only had it for a couple months, but the wheels seem fine and do not damage my hardwood floors.

Very decent home office chair!To be fair, I have low standards because I’m basically upgrading from a foldable chair out of my sister’s garage… I work from home, so I needed the most basic upgrade if I know I’ll be sitting on the same chair for most days. This review is about my first day with the chair, so I’ll see how it manages for the upcoming months.INSTALLATION: It took me just around 10 minutes to put the parts together and the instructions were very straightforward.DELIVERY: Delivery was prompt and the chair parts didn’t have dents or scratches. For those who did have damaged packages, it was definitely from the delivery and not from the manufacturer.COMFORT: Again, I have low standards. Otherwise, this chair is very comfortable! It’s pretty easy to adjust the height, spins well, and rolls smoothly, regardless of the fact that it’s on a carpet. One thing to note is that it takes extra effort to lower the height. I have to jump from my seat a little bit to make the chair lower. I’m also 100 lbs. so I don’t know if it varies by weight.
