Clean, Simple-Form & Function!I really did my homework prior to placing my order for a new office chair. I had a checklist of needs/requirements. Mainly, I was searching for something in the color white, stylish in design AND comfortable…I have ongoing lower back pain but must sit for long work periods. I am a jewelry designer living in a small studio, so my choice had to work with the rest of my furnishings. Lastly, my budget was $100.00!After searching endless furniture, office and discount websites and weighing all my options, I took a leap of faith with the QD-5058M from Flash Furniture here on Amazon.The chair is very near perfect! I was nervous about the scale of the chair-it is not too wide or the back too tall, and the seat drops & raises so it clears my worktable easily. It rolls and adjusts as described.Assembly took a little time. I was just about to give up attaching the back to the seat when it magically slipped into the connecting bracket-so that was a bit tricky. I have two disappointments. There are a few construction flaws upon final inspection: A deep scratch on the base, which I repaired with a bit of appliance paint touchup. Also, in a couple of areas the leather upholstery is sagging and 2 staples are visible. I will have to monitor this as I break the chair in, but, I could not justify dismantling and shipping my purchase back.All in all, I am happy with the materials used to construct this durable looking work chair- I appreciate the leather finish and the powder coated arms and base-making it more substantial and less “plastic-y” It was worth the extra money to invest in a comfortable, supportive, beautiful work chair-and the free shipping was a big help!

Good chair in the end!Pros:The material is very nice for the price! Compared to Ikea chairs in this price range, this chair easily wins. Something like this could be sold for double or more of what we pay here on Amazon. I paid about 125 for mine. Back to the material, its very nice to feel! As for the chair it didn’t look comfortable after I put it together but was great once I sat down. I wanted a work chair and this was perfect! Good for your back and just enough cushion. If you are looking for a lounge chair, keep looking.Cons: Putting this together is not going to be easy! You will need some muscle and probably two people for certain steps. Once you get all the bolts together everything will hold in place thankfully. My only other gripe is that the white paint on the elbow rests comes off easy because its right at the level of my glass tables which can grind it off.Overall an awesome chair once you get it together!

BAD DESIGN!!!!! 5 hours of work in vain!!!Really DISAPPOINTED!! Don’t know where all those good reviews come from!1.when you attach the back piece with the sit piece together the two ‘holes’ in both sides of the sit piece can’t be screwed due to the thickness of the back piece’s bar and the shortness of the screw provided.I thought this wasn’t gonna be a problem and continue to assemble the chair but I was apparently WRONG!2.when I finally put almost every piece together and begin to attach the arm piece I found that the back piece and sit piece were in a extremely large angle that the arms could not be attached to both of them to make the chair work!!I was so pissed and furious I didn’t stop to take a picture but tear them apart immediately hoping to return it back and that’s when the 3rd problem occurred.3. The sit part and the wheel part along with the connecting stick could not be move apart cause they are connected pretty tightly! And I’m just a 5’6 and 100 pounds lady who definitely do not have the strength to make them apart!It took me nearly 3 hours to put it together and almost half of that time trying to put it apart. For almost 5 hours of work it comes with nothing. At the end of the day I still have nothing to sit on in my newly moved-in empty apartment.So there it is, piling into the package box with no use at all. I want to return it but I don’t know how am I supposed to find a bigger box to put all these in.First time purchasing furniture in Amazon and it was really a bad experience, don’t think I’ll ever do that again!To this point I just hope Amazon or the seller could tell me how to return it back…….

Arrived DamagedUnfortunately, the package arrived with the left arm foam completely crushed. We didn’t notice until we had the chair almost put together. By the way, it takes 2 people to get the back and seat screwed onto the support bracket. We were also missing 2 key washers used in connecting the back of the chair to the bracket. Customer service is sending us another chair and we will take the replacement arm and ship the other box back. The chair seems comfortable. I don’t know how long the arms will stay white though. I think it’s going to be high maintenance.Update: the new chair arrived so that we could use this one to replace the L arm rest. But the white color on the metal arm rests have changed to an off-white that does not match my original chair’s stark white color. Plus there was a big chip off the paint of the L arm chair and there was a noticeable pucker in the stitching on the L arm rest. This is really a poorly made chair (made in China). I’m just glad I paid the sale price and not full retail.

Great looking and considerably well made sturdy office chair…I ordered this to replace another chair that was just done for my home office. I must say I was pleasently surprised at the sturdiness of this chair and how soft the leather is coupled with how comfortable it is to sit in for long stretches at a time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a modern soft leather home office chair that is really easy on your derriere and back.Just a note, a few pieces in box were crushed (a wheel and a two chair plastic clips) and I called the company for replacements and in a matter of a few days they were here. Superb customer service, no hassles, fast delivery. Considering the price for this chair it was a excellent buy and well worth the money.

Beautiful, but has some issuesThis chair is stunning, it’s exactly the look I was searching for. It has some assembly issues when it comes to installing the back of the chair to the base of it. Luckily my husband was able to figure out a way to screw it together. It is very comfortable and soft (but I haven’t sat on it for an extended period of time yet, so keep that in mind)The color is classic white, not crisp arctic white, but also not ivory/off white either.Overall I love it, and hopefully it stays beautiful for a long time.***photo was taken with yellow-toned incandescent lighting, so keep that in mind****

Missing bolt and no way to get a replacementI don’t know what other reviewers found so difficult about assembling this chair. Mine arrived in good condition and I was able to assemble it by myself in about 20 minutes. It is also very comfortable to sit in even for extended periods of time. The only thing I was disappointed about was it arrived missing one of the long bolts that bolt the back to the seat. Even though missing a bolt, I am still able to use it, though, I hope the lack of the fourth bolt doesn’t compromise the integrity over time because there is no way to get a replacement part. There is no telephone number on the instructions to contact the seller and there is no options for seller feedback here on Amazon. I am sort of upset with Amazon for even working with a company that you cannot contact when something goes wrong.

Bad, bad chairI really wanted to love this chair. When it got here, the packaging was torn the hell up. Holes everywhere! There was very little protection to the metal parts of the chair which created holes in the box… Alright, whatever, give it a shot. First impression: the white upholstery was DIRTY. Grey/black smudges and fingerprints all over. Staples are showing all over. The quality is no better than $75 chair from Office Max. The material felt nice at least. Then, it’s time to put it together. Putting computer chairs together aren’t usually the easiest thing in the world, but this was a pain in the ass. Furthermore, NOTHING FIT. To get things to marginally fit, I couldn’t even screw in the screws all the way. Which brought me to the back of the chair. The metal attachment from the back of the chair to the bottom obviously is NOT shaped well for this. It requires 4 screws; I was lucky to force 2 in. At that point, I sat it up to see if the arms would even fit… and why no, they were actually 2-3 inches too long for the chair. I was going to disassemble so I can ship back at this point, but of course, the thing doesn’t disassemble. This chair isn’t even worth $150, much less the “suggested price” of $3xx. I have sat in $150 chairs that are WAY WAY more comfortable. (This one doesn’t even lean back!!!)I am extremely disappointed with this purchase, and I’d probably light it on fire if it weren’t $150. Returning this and never buying furniture from Amazon again.

Almost 3 years of EVERYDAY sitting, and just started talking about a new oneI feared the white! BUT it withstood a lot of abuse. This is my boyfriend’s and my’s video game chair, relaxing chair, office chair, EVERYTHING chair. We sit in it EVERYDAY and it has withstood a lot of abuse. We did have to go back and add locktite to the bolt in the armrests and the bottom but after a little blue locktite we have not had to tighten since. We have had this chair for almost 3 years now and are finally starting to need a new one. The armrests are starting to peel ever so slightly and the cushion is flat. I wish they offered a couple more colors, but might buy this one again since we know it LASTS

Took some effort to line them up.Leather isn’t treated and will stain like crazy from anything. I don’t expect the white to last more than a year.
