Really like the chair, but ABSOLUTELY LOVE the companyMake no mistake, this is a great chair. It is comfortable and does everything it is supposed to do. It is everything my wife wanted and expected in a gaming chair. (She is a court reporter and spends a lot of time in her chair.)After just over a year of use, a small piece on the base broke. I took some pictures and send them an email with my problem. Within a day I received the usual auto-generated response with a claim number. I waited a few days and called to check on it. My call was answered by a nice young lady in Georgia. (The state of Georgia, not the country) Were she informed me that my claim had been resolved and that they had already Fedex’d me a new base. The true test of a company is not just with the products they sell, but how they handle the customer after the sale. Flash furniture did everything right and has earned a customer for life.

Uncomfortable until broken in and difficult to assembleI purchased this for my boyfriend. He sent this to me and I’ve copied and pasted it verbatim:I tried to like it, I really did. I adjusted it as much as I could, but… Just no. I spent time gaming in it to see how that would feel, and it was miserable. I felt like i was sitting on a furnace, as it has absolutely no breathability that a chair that will hold an ass for prolonged periods of time should have. The backs of my knees were drenched in sweat, which hasn’t happened to me since the military. The “pillows” have no squish to them, so it brings back the memories of resting on rocks in the field to get some “good” shut eye. I tried painting miniatures in it, and while the fact that you can actually lock it back is nice, it takes the force of a thousand cosmic explosions to put it back and the sound it makes is like nails on a chalkboard, only the chalkboard is your eardrum and the nails are machine guns firing at a cyclic rate until the barrels melt. And putting it together requires more effort and strength than most gamers can muster, and the instructions take a master’s degree in engineering to figure out. (Feel free to us all of this in the review, give it a star because it is acts like a freaking chair).UPDATE from the bf 12/21/2020Once it’s broken in, it does not take a thousand cosmic explosions to lock the chair back, And it does not sound like nails on a chalkboard whenever you adjust it. It still feels like a furnace, and it is a fart flavor saver. I have not used the pillows so my view cannot change on that. Give it 4 stars instead of 1.

Good chairTo begin, I’m a 6’1″ and 190 pounds. Great chair, it is very comfortable but not the most comfortable (8/10). The materials are nice quality (7/10), because of the price I was expecting very cheap materials, but this was not the case, it is synthetic leather so must take care of it and treat it like a lady. It fits perfect, the head rest is the right height (don’t use the pillow, it is uncomfortable to my neck), fit my shoulders perfectly. Can work or game for hours on this chair, but after 3 or 4 hours I start to feel some discomfort on the buttocks, again not the best material and you should take a break after that long. The bad: it came with missing screws, so had to go to a local hardware store to get the equivalent or similar screws, I would suggest to plan for that if buying this chair, maybe it was because bought it used, but looks and feels new. I ordered one for me and after trying it for a month ordered one for my son (he loves it) but same story (missing screws) again maybe because I bought it both used, but you can’t beat the price on that. Easy to assemble, you can do it yourself but a lot easier with an extra hand. Over all great chair, hope this helps.

The chair has broken within a week of construction. This chair is cheap. But you know what they say, you get what you pay for.The materials seem flimsy. The armrests, the support for the wheels, the material for the chair itself, it all seems thin and cheaply made.Within a week of light duty use by a person who is well under the weight limit of 250 lb, the chair has completely fallen apart. We will be reaching out to Amazon about a replacement.Assembling the chair is incredibly difficult.By far the most difficult part was connecting the seat to the back. The parts that we got must have been bent or something, because they would not fit on the chair without Herculean effort.Once we had the parts in place to bolt together, the bolts would not thread into their holes. There was too much padding on the edge of the chair so that the bolt could not reach the actual threaded bit to connect.Or at least there was too much to make it an easy task. We eventually got it assembled correctly, but soon the side frame that has the handle to set the seat back or in place has completely come out of its hole, and the bolt will no longer thread. All in all this was a terrible purchase, and we will be seeking a refund.

Seat Cushion is flat and hard 15 months InThis chair is being used as an office desk chair and is now painful to sit in roughly a year or so into use. If you have the disposable income, I’d recommend spending more to ensure adequate support / cushioning.

Not designed for long periods of office sitting. Will get uncomfortable if sat in too long. Lumbar and neck pillows are both unusably stiff and poorly located once attached to the chair by the attached straps that are not adjustable. Armrests are loose because of the swivel mechanic. The recliner system is neat but not something you want to be playing around with a lot. It feels like it has a few good changes in it before it will go wonky on ya. Otherwise, a nice looking sturdy chair. Assembly is easy and can be done by a single person. It is a heavy chair. Looks exactly as advertised.

Not Comfortable Over TimePurchased this chair about 6 months ago for my husband, assembly was difficult, not impossible, but just difficult. At first he liked it, but truthfully that only lasted about a month. The seat pad is very uncomfortable, if I could replace just the cushion, I would considering this is not a cheap chair and we are past the return period, but that is impossible to do.Please just listen to the other reviews from buyers who have had the chair a while, it is NOT worth it!

Nice Chair So Far / A little hardNot very expensive as gaming chairs go. It is kind of hard as other reviewers mention. A cushion fixes that, so not a big deal for the price. It looks great and so far (1 month later) it’s holding up to a teenager who slouches around and sits with feet up. It can rocks a bit and I find it comfortable with the cushion. (there’s no foot rest on it as described on my model X20).

You get what you pay for-poor ventilationIt’s a cheap chair and you can feel it when you use it. But it does what a chair is supposed to so in that aspect this product is good. The material makes for very poor ventilation.

The arms bro! It’s only been a few days but so far… ehh. So I’ve read the reviews about the noise, no noise whatsoever so far. It was def a little bit of a lengthy assembly. No big deal. The neck pillow makes my neck hurt, not sure if the lumbar pillow is good or bad? I’ll probably take both off or at least def the neck bc it pushes your head forward. But the thing I’m most concerned about is the arms, they’re clicking all over the damn place pivoting inwards and out. The lever for them to raise and lower is no problem, for now. But they don’t stay stationary, so if you grab the arm to sit down watch out because they will move on you fast! They should lock in place but they don’t, so they’re over here wu-tangin’ on me.. I feel like in time they won’t even “click into place” and they’ll just be chicken wingin’.
