Comfy and sturdyThe chairs are very comfortable and they are the perfect height for my counter. They were a bit complicated to assemble. I would recommend putting the step pieces in with the legs BEFORE tightening the screws to make sure the L and the R are in the correct spots.I ordered 2 sets and the only thing I didn’t like was that a set was from Malaysia and the other set was from China. The one from China stated that the material may cause cancer – I’m sending it back – while the one that came from Malaysia said nothing of the sort. I didn’t understand why they didn’t send me both sets from Malaysia. Regardless, called the company and they told me that they couldn’t do anything about my order because they were purchased from Amazon. Now it’s just a process.

A hard to find itemWe found it difficult to find these bar stools in any store front location. Went to Amazon and we found what we were looking for. This is our third set of this type of bar stool. Quality of the faux leather seems to be better than in the past. Assembly did take longer on the first stool than it did on the second. This was possibly due to some of the holes for the leg supports not being thoroughly reamed out. All in all, we are very satisfied with the look and feel of this product.

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS!!!!!!!!The instructions are NOT clear, you have to figure it out. The screws do not match the diagram. Its not hard to figure out everything comes together at the end. The only thing I would advise is DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS!!!!!!!!!! The wood will crack and break.

Not badNice looking stool. Assembly can be a little difficult- not because too complicated but because everything needs to fit a certain way to prevent the chair from a slight wobble and/or having all pieces fully inserted.

I Don’t Love Them. I Kind of Hate Them.I ordered two sets, so four stools total. These seem sturdy and comfortable. They were okay to put together – I wish the screw holes had been pre drilled.How do they look? The leather has been trimmed poorly in multiple places so extra pieces are visible. One corner was cut too short and shows the material underneath. The leather on the seat of one stool must be crooked because it doesn’t sit flat. There are noticeable paint drips and places were pre-set hardware was put in too tightly and caused cracking. I don’t love the haphazard staples under the chair back, but at least those aren’t always visible. There are a few other noticeable nicks and dings here and there but I can live with those I guess.Overall, it was difficult to find the stools I wanted and these fit my criteria. I’m deciding if I can live with all the very visible imperfections or if I should continue my search.

After a lot of hard work and money I was really hoping for good results, butUpdate from my previous review:This company did replace the legs that were sent broken in a timely manner. The chairs look great and are very comfortable. I am grateful that their customer service was excellent and I am very happy to have these at my kitchen bar…..I just received by barstools and assembled them. After a lot of hard work and money I was really hoping for good results, but, UNFORTUNATELY, two out of the four barstools have cracked front legs (which is four legs). The barstools are gorgeous and very comfortable so I would like to work it out with the company to get replacements. I will be updating my review with regards to customer service and results!
