if you’re thinking of putting this together by yourself, better get a friend or two or three.The bookcase isn’t very easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow (mostly pictures, tho. No written material/ descriptions), but if you’re thinking of putting this together by yourself, better get a friend or two or three. This build does not use the common cam bolt and screws system that most furniture-in-a-box use. It’s got it’s own system that consists of little “locks” and pegs. The “locks were at times so tight that my fingers literally bled when trying to close them and at times seemed too loose that I felt that the pieces weren’t going to hold together. I was not able to assemble the bookcase the way the manual instructed to. Thankfuly “there’s more than one way to skin a cat”, or so they say. It took me about 3 hours by myself to put it together.The unit was delivered n 2 shipments. The fireplace arrived first, then the bookcase a few days later.The pieces arrived a little banged up with some dents and scratches here and there. Thankfully most of them were on the back of the unit or inside the cabinets, so other than a little dent on the front above the fireplace, the bookcase looks decent.As for the fireplace, it is just as advertised. It makes a soft humming noise at first after you turn it on, but then it quiets down completely. I haven’t tried the heater mode on it yet as I live in Florida and I got it with the fireplace just for aesthetics. Just being able to turn it on without heat is a really nice feature. The fire is realistic. The little remote control is very simple, but does its job.Overall I am happy with my purchase. The bookcase could’ve been better quality based on the price.

Easy to assemble just fillow the instructionsI am very pleased with this item. I bought this for my guest room/office because I need a little additional heat in there on cold evenings. Though it is smaller than I thought it would be, It is perfect for the space that I have. It heats nicely and gives a nice ambience. I definately would recommed it.

Very beautiful. Easy to assembleYea it is a little on the short size. So make sure you really look at the measurements. But it was easy to put together and it heated my living room very well. I have a pretty decent size room. The only problem I have is it makes this noise that sounds like a loud clock every few seconds. I will contact the company tomorrow about that. Other than that I love it and it is beautiful and I know it will be durable. The glass shelves make this unit look extremely beautiful.Update:Got a great response from the company. They sent me a new insert. The same noise comes from it. Hands down still working great. Still warms us and gives great ambience. The noise is annoying yet I guess it’s the wheel going around.

Basic but NiceThis is a very basic electric fireplace with only on/off control. It is lovely and very realistic. I was, however, disappointed that it didn’t have more options for controls, but then like I said, it is very basic. It is solidly built and I have no worries about it moving or collapsing. The little glassed in compartments are much smaller than I anticipated the the items I planned to put inside do not fit. A few CDs or DVDs will it but not much else. Someone larger and stronger probably would not have the same problems I had during assembly but it was very difficult for me.

Does not give off enough heat.Wanted to heat a small living room. Heater does appear to be blowing out enough. Does not heat the designated well. Heater looks great . Just not as functional as I would like. Would request an exchange for the heater insert but disposed of the packaging already . Live and learn.

Beautiful TV cabinet with FireplaceIt is easy to assemble but does require twol persons. It looks great and nice addition to the living room. The ample space behind fireplace does not get warm so can safely store power strip and cables. Though it arrived well packaged one of the inside divider came with a slightly chipped corner but luckily it was minor and not visible.

Great look, not super sturdySo this fireplace looks super cute and works fine. It definitely isn’t super sturdy but with proper care I don’t see it breaking. I think it looks great my only critique is I wish it was a little more solid for the price.
