Description
What’s more important for a twin bunk bed than staying safe and saving space? Youth furniture that stays flexible to life’s changes is great, too. With the White Wood Twin Over Twin Bunk Bed, you get all three. Stay safe with a floor bunk made for wild sleepers and top guardrails made for 6-year-olds and up, both made of solid wood. A fixed ladder keeps it compact, while the contemporary shiplap design keeps it clean. And the flexibility? When life changes, break up the bunk into two twin beds. Includes the twin bunk bed frame with bed slats; no box spring necessary. Requires two twin mattresses; not included. Assembly required.

Easy to put together. My son loves his new bunk bed. I put it all together alone and only needed help lifting the top onto the bottom. Was fairly simple to put together. Doesn’t seem incredibly sturdy but will most likely hold up fine for the few years we will need it for.

Great bunk beds for 4 year old twins !For the money – these bunks are phenomenal- I debated spending a ton on PotteryBarn knowing they would be in them for a long time – however these bunks are fabulous sturdy zero issues – the only thing that was a pain was removing the top bunk stickers with goo gone lol – great sturdy product with zero issues

Really easy to put together, than it looksWhen u open the box, your gonna freak out because there are SO many pieces to put together! But it really is simple!! It did take 2 of us about 4 hours to assemble. The slates, I think, were the hardest. Also I did order the white bunks and it did have some yellow/nicotine looking stain on panel backboard. That would be my only complain. But all in all, I am absolutely 💯 satisfied!! I didn’t want big, bulky beds because my kids room is really really small, but this fit perfectly! And it wasn’t so tall!! Kids absolutely love their new bed!!!

Poor quality. The painting on the bed is uneven, another layer of paint was needed. The bed is unstable, I have a skinny 6-year-old girl who opens up all over her bed and moves with her. The cost of the bed is too high for the quality it offers.I bought this bed only because IKEA didn’t have it in stock, but the quality of Ikea is top notch compared to this and they also have better prices, easier to assemble too.Now I have no idea how to give it back, so I’ll keep it like this 🙁

Do not recommendYellowing panels and cracked piece. Thankfully not a weight bearing piece, but looks like they tried to repair it. Disappointed but didn’t want the hassle of returning it so we kept it and made it work. See photos.Update: there’s also parts missing, so now my kids don’t have a bed since I have to wait for a response from the company. DONT BUY

Not sturdyBought this for my 3 and 2 year old but the bed has lots of imperfections on some of the pieces. The slats for the mattress are not sturdy at all, they slip out very easily.

Cheap and DamagedVery cheap material doesn’t feel very sturdy, it wobbles and so many damages found, chipped fake wood and bubbles in the paint I wouldn’t recommend

Nice height, very easy assembly, everyone thinks it looks greatIt was time to get the third kid, almost 3 years old, out of the crib and into a big boy bed. I was drawn to this as his bed would be on bottom and would be really low to the ground. In addition, his older brother used to go under a bed that was raised, and he could no longer do so with this one. I also liked that it looks like the top bunk isn’t so high to the ceiling, making it easier to reach things on the bed and change the bedding. All of these assumptions, fortunately, were correct. This took me about 4 hours to assemble the whole thing. It was not nearly as frustrating to assemble as a different bed that had pull out draws was. However, there was a learning curve and I had to redo parts twice. I did things a little different than the directions as I was working with limited space. I completely step 1 of assembling the head and foot of the top bunk, but that’s all I did with that bed until I had the bottom assembled (minus the cross bars). After the bottom bunk was assembled and nearly in place I think mounted the head and foot on top, and proceeded to the following steps from there. It was a little difficult to put the rails on as I had to make sure the screws weren’t too tight where I couldn’t get others on or too loose where it would fall, but I think this really was my best option for how to assemble it, given the limited room and how heavy these are once assembled. I’m around 5 foot 5 and I was easily able to reach over the top of the bed to tighten things where I needed to… if it had been much taller I probably couldn’t.When assembling I did notice some minor cosmetic imperfections, and some rough spots on the wood. You can’t notice these from a distance. The center parts of the head and foot are thin particle board. Most of the rest is decent enough wood. Another reviewer said that it smelled, but mine does not at all. Mine did stay outside in a dry area for a few weeks though as I wanted it to be a surprise Christmas gift, so I don’t know if that factored in and got rid of any smell or if there was none to begin with. It’s a nice sturdy quality. Not perfect, but for the price it is good. The kids love it. We shared photos with their grandmother and aunt, and they loved it too. The two older kids have an easy time climbing up and down the ladder. The mattress comes to the second bar, then has a gap before the third bar. I’m able to pull the top mattress up a bit and turn it as needed to work with sheets… it’s not easy, but it could be far worse. I’m happy with this overall, and it is such a space saver in the boys’ bedroom.

Nice looking bed, terrible smellThis came in a large box with all the hardware scattered throughout, it looked intimidating when I opened it. The worst part is the terrible smell, I turned on the fans and opened the windows, but it still made me nauseous. After a few hours it seemed to lessen but I can still smell it somewhat. It took 2 people about 30 minutes to assemble the bed that is the top, some of the labels on the wood were missing so I had to go by pictures of what the piece was supposed to look like. The bed is sturdy and good for younger children to use as a bunk bed because it is lower than a traditional bunk bed. It also works to have separately, but I don’t see an older child wanting to sleep on the floor.
