Nice but defective from factoryThese bar stools are beautiful and easy to assemble. HOWEVER, buyer beware – I ordered 4 if them and they all had the same defect. I ordered each one separately and Amazon gave me a credit for the first two. When I called to report issues with the other two, I was told my only option was to return them and order a replacement. I explained that I couldn’t bring them back to UPS so I would need them to be picked up. I also explained to the Amazon rep that I no longer had the box as it was left in the snow both times and it got ruined. The rep suggested I look for a box to put them in. She said to ask a neighbor fir one (WTH!). I asked rep to ship me a box so I could have it ready for UPS and she said that Amazon does not provide boxes. She then suggested I order replacements and use those boxes to ship the damaged ones back. This sounded good so I considered it for a mint. I then asked the rep if she could have someone at the warehouse check the stools before they shipped them as all the stools had the same damage in the same spot so it was clearly not due to transport. She said she couldn’t do that and that I would have to just order more until I didn’t get any defective ones…. I told her that’s insanity and then I got disconnected. Coincidence ? Who knows… I’m too tired to keep calling about these damn stools so I’m keeping them. In a nutshell , if you order these be prepared for factory defects.

BEAUTIFULLY WELL MADE STOOLSAmazed at the quality of these counter bar stools. They are perfectly manufactured and gorgeous. Couldn’t be any sturdier or comfortable. They are very dressy and certainly “not farm style”. They fit perfect with our antiques and wood flooring. The heavier part of the chair is essential so they don’t tip over. The swivel doesn’t snap back either. 10 stars ********** The back of the chair fits comfortably against the body.. The quality of the leather is tops. I am a very difficult consumer to satisfy. These are highly recommended and will last a very long time. And the price was extremely inexpensive considering the high quality. (One arrived nicked and was promptly replaced within 3 days) I am a very satisfied consumer. Linda G

My Pair ChairsI loved the Paris flair they had and the design of them went with my new kitchen (I designed) perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for better chairs, they are quality and match. I am so glad I found them. I enjoy them every time I sit at my island and have an espresso. The pictures don’t even do them justice. They are so elegant. I am very proud of them. I highly recommend this seller. I got them even sooner than promised and in fabulous condition.

Leather or Faux?The seats are Faux, the remainder being of the “wood” texture. We purchased four of the stools with backs to compliment our new kitchen breakfast bar. I would say they are in great shape.

VERY WELL MADE!If you like a more ornate dark wood look, this is the counter stool for you. The leather seat is of high quality. It swivels well. It’s easy to assemble. It was sent very carefully and safely packaged. It is a heavy stool, all the more for its durability. Even the legs have lovely detail. I’m very pleased with my purchase of 4 of these stools.
