Heavy, maybe not blueI dont necessarily know where the “blue” comes from in the description. The stone slab just looks like a cool toned slate gray in my opinion. The metal legs remind me of an aged pewter/gunmetal but is reminiscent of a rubbed bronze. The stone slab top is not one solid piece of stone, however the weight of it is much heavier than a laminated particle board. It looks like planks of material coated in resin and I overall enjoy the look. It looks better than I thought it was going to. The weight of the table top ultimately had the box it came in destroyed in shipping; I was nervous it was damaged but it came out in tact. I took off the star on my review because of the metal base of the table. The base comes in 4 pieces to join together to create the circle, and 2 of the 4 pieces have the legs. My feet came a little precrushed, as pictured, but does not affect the functionality of the table. The rubber feet nubs can be screwed/unscrewed to level which is nice. I was able to get almost all the screws on, however they were difficult and the holes weren’t aligned perfectly. I assembled loose per normal flat pack instructions but this definitely took manipulation. The base looks like it is 4 pieces together versus one whole unit which is unfortunate but expected with a DIY assembly. My biggest issue is that I was only almost able to screw the unit together; there was a hole at the leg joinery completely missing, as pictured. The table is far too heavy for me to bother returning, and I don’t sit on my tables so I am not worried for safety. It seems sturdy and solid, however I should have to attempt the assessment of safety of something based on its poor manufacturing. Since I am keeping the table as is, and I am over all satisfied with the item, I am rating it 4 stars for aesthetic and value.

Absolutely stunning piece and service beyond compareI am very selective about my reviews but this one deserves my full attention and for very good reasons.First – the table is just amazing. The color and finish of the top and bottom are timeless and very high end. I could not be happier with the purchase and it is better than the pictures in person. I also ordered the matching end tables as well and cannot wait for them to arrive. Assembly was very simply and the table is heavy and rock solid.The other item is the customer service. Many times I hesitate when ordering furniture online because of issues and getting resolution. Sure enough I got the table and assembled it only to discover a pretty significant crack in the top. I though – “should I bother trying to replace it or just live with it”. Hillsdale included a card in the pack with a number so I decided to call.I was guided to their website where I could enter a ticket along with photos and the invoice and got a ticket created. I was contacted within a day as I forgot to upload the invoice and I replied to the email. I explained the problem. Within one week a new top (and by the way the top is heavy and bulky) was at my front door. I could not believe it. I installed it and it is perfect.This is a company with real people and they stand behind their product – they have no idea how or when it was broken as it was warehoused at Amazon yet they sent a new top no questions asked. Hillsdale Furniture is a company you want to use to buy online furniture because it is as worry free as a local purchase. Well done and it took all of my stress away.

Very Happy!Before i got this i looked for a few weeks, on different sites for a nice side accent table for my living room. Saw a few i liked, but i still kept looking. This table they had on a few other sites for alot more money! I saw it here read the reviews, and ordered it. When i order anything like this online, i cross my fingers and hope its not damaged, and that i have all the pieces. I was so suprised when i had this in 3 days!! Very fast shipping. ordered on 7/27 and i had it on the morning of 7/30! Wasn’t heavy to carry it up my steps. I put it together easily. I learned from experience not to totally tighten the screws, just in case its not right.. This was perfect! Easy to assemble (even for a no patience person like me.. lol.. ) looks great in my livingroom. Worth the money. Fast shipping. I order alot from this site and never any problems. I would say to anyone, this is worth buying.

Gorgeous, fit our decor overall happyWe are really happy with this table. Ordered it based upon just one review and took a chance. The base of the table is what won us over. The top appears to be not a solid piece of engineered stone but rather smaller brick like pieces glued together. Described as blue stone but ours looks more gray with a little on the jade side. Works great in our living room and we are happy with it. We struggled a little to put all the screws in. Some didn’t line up with the predrilled holes on the top.

Mine arrived cracked and started to peal…….LOVE the table – shape, size, style = PERFECT……….Mine arrived with 2 hairline cracks that just got worse. They then started to peal….awful…..for the $$$ I expected much more.

Really nice tableI was really concerned about this table looking cheap because of the price.I was also really concerned about the “blue stone” top (which is black) having this tiled look on the top.The tiles stone top is hardly discernable to the eye. It looks like a circle granite top.Over all this table is great value and looks great!
