Really nice, solid classic chairsI love these chairs! They are classic but the XX back give them a little more pizzazz!. They are comfortable, too. I am very handy and have put plenty of items together but these gave me a run for my money… It was very awkward putting the back together with the front. I bought 4 chairs (2 pairs) and was so excited to finally get the last chair together. They go with the Home Styles 5518-30 French Countryside round dining table. I was nervous about buying chairs without feeling them out but they are exactly what I wanted and wished for. I’ve never bought furniture online before because I like to sit on things and I am very tactile; I like to know the feel of the furniture. This is solid wood. The white isn’t too bright and has a little bit of manufactured distressing – it looks nice. Not too much. I’m really glad I finally bought them! They replaced a counter height dark wood dining set. This is much more inviting and friendly!

Color is more of a cream than white.Beautiful set, we ordered the matching table as well. The table top cake not distressed which I actually prefer. I’m wondering if you can order the chair tops not to be “distressed” as well? Over time, we will do our own distressing… it’s not a deal breaker for me, I just don’t need little holes etc added to the beautiful wood look.

Beautiful chairs!I was hesitant to order these chairs online without being able to see them or sit in them beforehand, but I’m glad I did! I really love these chairs – they look exactly as pictured, and feel very solid and sturdy. It took my husband a couple of hours to assemble all of them, but he didn’t have much trouble understanding the instructions. I was also happy with the way they were packaged – the boxes had some surface damage (nothing major, just average wear and tear), but with the amount of solid packaging and styrofoam, these chairs were pristine! They’re also pretty comfortable; the wood seat is conveniently formed in the shape of your butt, so they’re more comfortable than they may appear at first glance. All in all, a solid purchase! I also purchased two sets and the colors matched each other perfectly (since one review mentioned that as a problem).

GREAT PRODUCTSCREWS ARE HARD TO GET IN BECAUSE THE WOOD IS REALLY HARD. THAT IS A GOOD THING. THERE WERE NO HOLES IN THE CHAIR ITSELF. I HAD TO DRILL THE HOLE IN THE LEGS. THERE WERE HOLES IN THE STRETCHER (KEEPS THE CHAIR FROM PULLING APART.) THE PRODUCT IS SOLID AND WELL MADE. I ORIGINALLY ORDERED TWO CHAIRS. CHAIRS WERE SOLID SO I ORDERED TWO MORE. WE ALSO ORDERED THE TABLE. ALSO VERY SOLID.

Super cute chairsSuper cute chairs! Assembly was pretty easy with a drill. A few legs were a tad shorter and need a felt spot to prevent rocking. Wood finish is MUCH lighter stain than I anticipated from the pictures! It’s more of a normal light oak color. I also ordered from 2 diff sellers that had best price and one box was definitely a returned item because the bolts, nuts and screws kit was all mixed up! Thank goodness we did 2 chairs before and are handy people!

These are nice chairs though the backs are taller than I thought …These are nice chairs though the backs are taller than I thought they’d be. Nice finish. I didn’t even put the screws in on the stretchers, they occasionally spin around but not much. I could not get the screws that were provided to go in without stripping them

Cute chairsCute chairs. Relatively easy to assemble. Ordered too sets but the seats were different stains which was disappointing. Paint has a weird speckle/bubbling to it. Slightly off white.

Not WhiteChairs are not white. They are cream. A faint hint yellow of a cream color. I will be returning them. However the sturdiness of the chairs seemed great

Happy!Nicely packages and arrived on time. I bought the table and four chairs from a friend whose room it didn’t fit and purchase this package of 2 chairs separately. I was worried about colors being off, but they matched near perfect!

Excellent ChairsVery pleased with these chairs. Solid wood, very sturdy. The assembly was hard for the first one (we have 8). However, after the first one, the rest was fairly easy. There is one set of screws in each that is quite hard to install as the wood is not pre-drilled. The only real drawback is that the instructions leave a lot to be desired.
