It came with a crackI really liked this chest. I’m 6 months pregnant and I could carry it even with my things in it. It did come with a crack on the side though and that’s why I knocked off a star. Its color is green not blue but green is one of my favorite colors, so I don’t mind. I just think it’s a little over priced especially if it came with a big crack in the side which I’m disappointed in.

As charming as it looksI eyed this chest for a long time before finally pulling the trigger. It’s very cute and spacious. I use it to store TV-related electronics. Not the sturdiest, so I’d be careful moving it when it’s full, and wouldn’t put it anywhere people might try to sit on it (though the curved lid discourages this somewhat). Overall: fantastic and exactly what I hoped for

Color not as shown, more fragile than expected, but lovelyAs other reviewers have noted, it is green, not blue, but I’m relieved that it is a muted olive green and not bright green. It’s pretty neutral, and I love the design. What I don’t love is the color of the wood top. It’s more orange than brown. I’m going to have to refinish it. It’s a lightweight piece, really too fragile for a toy box, which is what I am using it for, but because it sits in our great room, I needed it to be attractive, and that it is. There is no latch or loop for a padlock, if that matters to you. The arm that holds up the lid is metal in the one we received. One reviewer stated that hers was plastic. Ours clicks into different positions as it is raised. Because the lid is not heavy, I’m hoping we won’t see any loosening of screws or bending of the arm any time soon. I may have my husband do some reinforcements. It could use some. It really isn’t very well made and I’m not sure it’s worth what we paid. But I’m happy with it. The item shipped quickly, was well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

Just right for the moneyThis trunk is so pretty. It’s not made of the best wood but it is sturdy and put together nicely. The safety feature of the locking lid is great. The decor is just nice for my style and it makes a nice little addition to any room. The compartment is do-able for linens or some blankets, but it’s not a large area. I’m happy with this purchase.

Very poor quality abosuletly not qorth the money. Scam.This chest is very cheap and not well made at all. Its 170 dollars gor that i expected quality. Its made of cheap plywood and all the facets that look like metal are basically spray painted cardboard thats glued and stapled on. It feel apsrt in less then a month just sitting by my bed without handling it at all. Do not waste your money on this. I dont normally write reviews but i could have gotten something way better quality for the price tag. I just want to warn people.
