What is Parawood?
Parawood, also known as Rubberwood, is considered to be environmentally sound as it uses plantation trees that have been felled at the end of their cycle of latex production and new trees are grown. The wood, therefore, is harvested from a renewable source. Parawood’s latex production begins when it is about five or six years old and continues until it is about 25 to 30 years. These trees grow to about 75 feet-80 feet high and are extensively used for making furniture. These trees are native to Central America, India and Indonesia.

Strength Group: B6 (same group as maple)

Very cute and sturdy table – one person assembly!One person can put this together alone. It is very sturdy and arrived in perfect shape – no defects at all. Perfect size for my small space. My only disappointment and the reason I took off one star is, the finish is pretty “soft”… I slid a cardboard box across the table and it left marks. That was disappointing, but for the price I can’t complain too much, you can only see the marks up close.

Perfect SizeGreat little table for our breakfast nook. I stained it. The only downside is that there were a few nail holes filled with wood putty that didn’t stain well but if you are just painting this table, it would be fine.

Sturdy, Well Made TableWe love this table! It fits just right in the space I wanted it for on our screen porch. It went together quite easily (no swearing from my husband!) well made very sturdy It looks so great. Can’t wait to use it.

Good table, if it arrives without damageI ordered 2 tables. One arrived perfect. The other one had a crack in the pedestal near the screw receptacle. It is not visible once you assemble the table, but the crack makes that table weak. Looks like it may fall off after some use. Assembly for that table top was little harder because the screw did not line up with the receptacle due to the crack.There is no option to contact seller. The only option is to return the whole table. It is not easy to pack it all up and return it. I wish there was some way they could just replace the part that is defective. It will be a waste to send the whole table back and get a new one shipped to me.I will wait to see if I can contact the seller before returning it.

Great little tablePaint or stain it. Very cute. Lift up a little on leafs and make sure you pull wood piece out ALL the way or it will feel weak and wobbly.Great value.

Nice quality, raw woodI love this little table as it is a perfect size and easy to assemble. I chose to just wax the bottom and paint the top and spray with polyurethane to seal. Also, I added small 1″ wheels to the bottom that already had the threads to screw them in.

Great for small areaThe drop leaves are easy to use & I only need one up most of the time. Great for playing cards. The center pedestal is nice for knees not bumping on a 4 legged table. Very sturdy even for elbows on the table. This gets daily use & price point perfect.I would buy again.

QualityThe table is basically what I expected, a little disappointed in the painting quality though. You might say someone did a rush job on the table. I am very satisfied otherwise !

Great Buy!This arrived as expected and packaged very well. The instructions were clear and the table easy to assemble. The color of the table top (Cinnamon) was a bit lighter than expected – so in hindsight I should have purchased the unfinished table. I did not have any leveling issues with the drop leaf. The table is very nice. I would purchase it again.
