Nice corner media cabinet for the price; some assembly hassles.This corner cabinet is good quality for the money. I purchased the unfinished option; I have not stained it yet so I can’t comment on whether it the wood will accept stain evenly. This cabinet is actual wood (instead of fiberboard, etc.) except for the back of the cabinet and the drawer bottom. All other pieces are solid wood – which is a rarity at this price point. I hired someone to put it together. He is an experienced handy-man. He had no problem with the main part of the cabinet, but the drawer was (as several others have mentioned) a pain. He finally discovered that, although the drawer slides had been pre-assembled, they were on backwards (front to back). After he turned them around – no problem. 4 stars because of this problem, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I would recommend this cabinet based on the wood quality, overall sturdiness, and attractiveness.

Ease of assembly.I was impressed with how well the pilot holes lined up with the screw holes. No issues what so ever putting this corner cabinet together. Finish was perfect and to travel so far and not have one scratched or broken piece was amazing. Looks great in my new residence.

Heavy duty TV StandI purchased this stand to put a 43 inch tv on. All the pieces arrived undamaged and the pieces are heavy. Lots of reviewers indicated a problem assembling the drawer but I had no problem. I am a 60 year old female and I was able to assemble the entire piece by myself although I admit it would have been helpful to have a second pair of hands when putting the shelving together. I did purchase two wooden 28 inch legs to bolt to the underside of the back table top for added stability as the stand appeared to be a bit top heavy. The company sends hardware to attach the stand to the wall which would not only look cheesy but force damage to a wall and eliminate being able to move to a different corner if need be. I stained the top and shelves and painted the drawer and sides to match existing furniture and I am very happy with the results. Although the pieces come sanded, you should still lightly sand before you stain or paint for best results. Only downside is that price is $35 cheaper now than what I paid but not enough to make me regret my purchase.

Impressed at first…I was impressed as I was removing all the parts and pieces of lumber – with the wood and imagining it stained and finished. I’ve purchased and assembled many DIY furniture items before, so this was going to be a piece of cake… I thought! When attempting to assemble the first two pieces I found it difficult to insert one of the camlocks into the provided hole. Well, the hole wasn’t drilled deep enough to allow the camlock to be inserted all the way. Calling the support line informed me that only hardware can be replaced and if there was a problem with any of the lumber, it has to be returned to the seller! GREAT! I still have most of the package it came in and I’ve initiated a return/replacement with Amazon. Admittedly, Amazon makes it easy to return items… but, the challenge was in repackaging everything back into the box it came in. What a pain! Here’s hoping the next one will be manufactured properly. If the next one is good I’d be happy to bump up the rating.FOLLOWUP: Received the replacement and assembled it with no problems. This table had a crack in the top near the back. I decided that this was something I could live with – the crack adds a little character. For the price I can accept a few small flaws and upped my rating from 2 to 4 stars as it really does look great stained and finished.I like these pieces enough that I’ve purchased additional items and I’m pleased with them also.

Reliable but bigger and darker than expectedThe pictures show a lighter cherry color, but the wood is darker than that. Didn’t really match my living room then. It’s also a little difficult to assemble, and made it easier with a second person. Read other reviews to get tips on assembling the drawer.It’s also larger and more cumbersome than I expected, even with the measurements. It just feels bigger.

It looks good ‘It was damaged in shipment- some wood splintered. I still made it work, but the drawer doesn’t close sufficiently and I don’t know if the damage is the reason. Except for that, I love it!

Drawer did not fit properly.Bought this with the intension to stain. Once I started to stain it was noticed that the laminated board stain differently and gives a checkerboard affect. We instead decided to paint.When we tried to install the drawer the glide rails width on the drawer did not align with the rails on the cabinet. Had to purchase longer screws and washers and shim each rail on the drawer to make the correct alignment.All other pieces went together without any problems.The cabinet is sturdy and should last a long time.

Helps to have an electric drill with screwdriver bits for easier assemblyThis product is very nice. It was very well packaged. Despite a couple of dings in the packaging the product was undamaged. My advice is to first assemble the sides to the shelves with the sides laying on the floor to make that process easier. Otherwise you may need two people to do the assembly per the instructions. Have to be very careful screwing the drawer together, but it fits nivecy when complete. I think this product is a great value.
