Too cuteMy first table came damaged, so I had to wait for the replacement. I waited almost 3 weeks to begin my project. I first stained it with Varathane Kona, then chalk painted over the base, distressed the legs/base, and waxed to finish it. I am going to buy a clear protector for the top. The legs took the stain more evenly so I think they are made of something other than rubberwood, or are lacking something that the manufacturer might have added to the top for longevity/resiliency. The top also feels smoother. I chose not to apply a pre-stain as I liked the look of the top with an “uneven” adsorption. I applied it to the underside of the table top to test. It looks adorable in my little space and would repurchase and recommend it.

Excellent table, a little on the small sideI bought this table (and their bench to go with it) and I am so glad I did! It is a lot smaller than I anticipated, but that’s because I didn’t get a tape measure out in my kitchen before I bought it. My kitchen/dining area is rather large so it dwarfs the table a little bit. It came perfectly sanded, the stain took really well, and it was the easiest thing I’ve ever put together. I would have picked a larger table had I know it would look small in comparison, but it’s a really sturdy and quality solid wood table that I don’t regret buying!!

Awesome table!Bought 2 of these tables to use a new office desks. They arrived in 2 boxes each, one for the table top, one for the legs. Was extremely impressed with the quality, very sturdy, nice pieces. You don’t have to stain/paint if you don’t want too, the natural wood color is nice – but would recommend a quick swipe with sand paper to catch any frayed wood, and finish with a sealant. We stained the top, and painted the legs. Looks amazing! Makes a wonderful extra table, dining table, desk, crafting table. Took a pic just before assembly, but the wood took the stain and paint great! Would order these again if we have a need!

Lovely product as per usualThis is the 2nd natural wood product I’ve received from this company and as usual it exceeds my expectations. It’s sturdy and beautifully crafted. Only thing is, the wood isn’t treated which makes it ready for a stain or paint but I want to keep it natural so I have to buy something to preserve it. Overall a gorgeous gorgeous piece.

An excellent piece!This is an excellent piece of furniture. It is very sturdy and well made. It’s a perfect height for a small dining room and comes in a smooth unfinished surface. It can easily be stained and finished with shellac or primed and painted. I could not be more pleased with it. I will recommend it to others.

Arrived incompleteNice for the price, but arrived without any hardware. I wasn’t about to try and box this back up for return, so an hour trip to Lowe’s, and $6.45 for metric nuts, washers, and lock washers got it together. By the way, if you get stuck with this, the Metric size is 8MM – 1.25.
