Easy to assemblePerfect for small spaces that a regular futon is too big for. It does sit low to the ground which I don’t mind and a person about 5’7″ is the tallest that can lay down on it. It was SO easy to assemble! It is helpful to have 2 people simply to lift it up after screwing in the legs and 2 braces for the middle. It took only about ten minutes from opening the box to sitting on it.

Broken alreadyWe purchased this cute little futon sofa in December as a Xmas gift for our daughter. It’s super cute , and easy to assemble. When laid all the way flat is approximately the size of a twin bed. I was expecting each side to be around the size of a twin bed. So, we set it up . Everything seemed great . Then she sat down . There was a “twang” sound as a spring broke . Now it sags with a large hole in the material inside . I’ve searched and can’t find any way to contact the seller to resolve this issue. So, I guess , buyer beware . If anything happens you’re at a loss. 😞

Don’t use it as a bedI ordered this as I needed an extra furniture for my brother’s visit. It was easy to assemble but the first night he slept on it, it flipped when used flat. You have to sleep on one side only, you can’t move or you’ll be on the floor.It’s not comfortable to sleep for two days on a row either. It does fulfill the need of a couch to seat only.

Yay! Legs are found!Once I discovered where the sofa legs were hidden, we did not need to complain about anything. My husband says it is a 5-star product and very well engineered. It is sturdy, well made, and functions as it should. Also, the price is good. Some reviewers said the $600 was too high. Ours only cost $318.80, including taxes, etc. It’s a great value! So glad we chose this one! This will be placed in our son’s apartment and he loves it already!

a neat futon couch that is also a bed- i as well as my cats like itMinimalizing my apartment space is something i have been doing the past year. This involves reducing clutter by getting rid of some of my older more bulky furniture and replacing it with lighter and more minimal variations. What I mean by this is instead of having a desk with drawers I have several long and thin tables with total open space under them. This is also pet friendly for someone who has two cats such as myself. This kind of approach keeps bundles of stuff from gathering in drawers and forces me to be organized with documents and writing/books. With a futon couch I have encountered a great example of some thing that is right in line with my recent transition. The IULULU brand has created the perfect replacement for the bulky goliath couth that was basically 40 percent of my living space in my apartment. There are three main reason this is perfect for the space it is going in. The first is it works super well with a wood floor. With this being raised a good way off the ground I can easily send a mop or broom under there. This raised design gives me the ability to clean under there without moving a super heavy couch contraption. My cats love this because they can hide under there when it storms out. Another main reason for this being awesome is the light weight design. It is perfect in that it is not so light that it moves when you sit down with force, though you can easily move it up or back a few feet by sliding it for wanted adjustments.The third main reason I love this is the fold out option where you can transform it into a day bed with just a few clicks back like an old car seat. I had fun having one side up and the other down.I was very impressed with the easy set up. I would recommend having another person help you because when you go to flip the thing after installing the legs, as well as the middle support, you can risk damaging it with one person. I am used to doing this because I used to work at a hotel l where I mastered flipping something like this so I was able to do it without any trouble. Unboxing it also would be easier with two people. The installation of the four legs and the two middle metal support legs that double as braces took me about ten minutes. I spent more time breaking down the cardboard box. I am very happy with this futon combination couch and would of given it five stars except the cushion is a little hard and there unfortunately is a metal protrusion in the form of a screw that mildly juts out in the center and can be uncomfortable if you lay on it in a certain way. This is just in the center of the thing when it is in bed mode. When in couch mode it is perfect. This can easily be fixed by throwing down a memory foam pad or some other type of foam based sleeping pad.I like the grey color and fabric which looks professional.In the picture included you can see Bishop the cat trying to pull out the center node. Being able to pop down even one of the sides as I use the other for support, allows a pet such as Bishop to stretch out while laying next to you.Those two slightly detrimental things I feel are no big deal but unfortunately prevent this from receiving a full five stars. Four stars are a great rating though and I still recommend this.

Functional, easy to assemble, stylishMy sectional sofa is as old as the hills, and I’ve been wanting to replace at least the worst pieces of it for some time. When I saw this futon, I didn’t hesitate! This futon is simple to assemble, fairly sturdy, and looks great in my living room!I really like how the two back sections can be adjusted independently, and it’s easy to lay the backs flat or sit them up, and they stay in place solidly when upright. It’s comfortable enough as a couch, with throw pillows and reasonable expectations, and a far cry better than my old one. I am not the biggest fan of firm foam, but others in my house are.The legs are tall, and give plenty of clearance underneath for sweepers and vacuums, or storage space- I love that! They’re thick and sturdy too, and work well with the look of the couch, and the round leg shape is easier on the feet with accidental bonks.However, it is not comfortable as a bed to me. I can feel the joins on this futon when its laid flat, and the firm foam is uncomfortable. I intend to get a mattress topper for when it is used for sleeping, since I’m such a picky sleeper.Since the fabric cannot be removed for cleaning, I’ve put twin sized sheet on the couch; it fits perfectly, and stays in place when moving the pieces up or down together, and a fitted sheet type waterproof protector would also work well on this couch.Overall I’m very happy with this futon, and think that it’s excellent for freshening up a living room without spending a lot, and it’s space-saving function as a spare bed makes it even better.Futon Sofa Bed, Modern Convertible Futon Couch Bed Daybed for Small Spaces, Dorm, Taupe-Gray

Easiest setup everThis futon came in 2 pieces with the feet detached. Literally, all I had to do what lay it out flat (face down) and screw in the feet and attach the “T” feet in the middle that connected the 2 pieces and VIOLA installation was completed! THe longest part of the install was reading the instructions lol. It is small which is what I wanted. It is also pretty FIRM… like really firm. If you were going to have a guest sleep on it I would recommend getting a memory foam mattress topper to throw on top of it before expecting them to get a good night’s rest. I have such a topper on standby and this is the perfect addition to my “chill room”. I added some big comfy couch pillows and a throw blanket to it and it is comfy enough I can binge watch Netflix on it but I didn’t fall asleep and could readjust and I wanted so I didn’t have to get too uncomfortable on the firm couch.
