Incredible value for the money.I haven’t bought a new bed in over 15 years. Fantastic sleep quality (I’ve only had it for a day) but I’ve noticed a massive increase in comfort and levels of sleep fulfillment. Mind you I had an old school spring mattress, I used two foam pads to put on top of the mattress. It worked out pretty well, but those foam pads have a tendency to sink in so much that it’s becomes cumbersome when having a companion in bed with you. This mattress does NOT have that problem. It offers plushness in addition to the perfect level of firmness to accommodate side sleepers such as myself. I highly recommend this bed at its current price.It comes wrapped up air tight, and after unboxing/unwrapping, I waited about 30 minutes before “installing” on my platform bed. Went to sleep an hour later on it, and it was perfectly ready for use by that time. I’ve read some people leave it for 48 hours before using, but in my personal experience, that is entirely unnecessary. No bad smells, actually I’ve observed it has no smell at all. Great product!

High quality mattress and great customer service!The original product we got was defective. It had compressed foam in the middle of the mattress that creates a straight valley-like structure. We waited for two months hoping that it will be fixed by itself. But it did not fix. So we emailed Lucid. They were very responsive. I had to capture the tags. I also captured a video that demonstrate the problem easily. (I used a water bottle and passed it to the “valley” 😀 ). They quickly responded and sent me a new mattress of the same model (firm). And the new one is absolutely fine. No more valley in the mattress. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this product.

It’s almost perfectI had purchased the plush Lucid mattress for my other house & that one was PERFECT. Needed another mattress & for some reason could not ship the plush to Hawaii. But the medium mattress could be shipped, so I went with that. If you are reading this then you know mattresses are a very personal choice. How can a mattress feel like sleeping in a cloud & also feel like sleeping on a slab of concrete? Is there truly that much difference in 2 people’s experience? Or is it quality control of the memory foam? At any rate, I had a good experience with Lucid once. And had a bad experience with a different brand where the new mattress had zero support & gave me back pain like I’ve never experienced before. It also was so hot! And if you get the mattress & don’t like it, good luck getting it back into the box & returning it! I ended up selling it to some poor soul that didn’t know what a torture thing the mattress was. But hey, there were a gazillion 5 star reviews on that brand. Maybe the buyer got an almost brand new “like sleeping on a cloud in an inferno” for a fraction of the price!Anyways, back to this medium support Lucid. It’s OK. I wake up with ZERO back pain & does not retain heat, so maybe it does deserve a 5 star instead of 4 star. But, I just wish it had a tad bit more softness. Like maybe one or two more inches of soft memory foam. I’ve had it for a couple months. I am hoping as it breaks in it will soften up a bit. This mattress is probably good for people larger than I. And I sleep alone with a couple little furry friends. I tried putting a 3” memory foam mattress topper on it but it was too much, a little too soft. Maybe a 1” or 2” topper will work. Don’t get me wrong, I really do like this mattress. No back pain is worth a lot!!! This mattress is almost perfect! I would have traded the plush for this medium, but he let the old dog sleep on it with no waterproof protection & guess what? He can keep it! Also, the softer they are the faster they degrade. That plush mattress… the person sleeping on it is about 30-40lbs heavier than me. He’s been sleeping on it for 5 years & its has an indentation where he sleeps. But he has not complained about that. He does complain about the fact that there’s no support at the edges when you sit. That is true for any memory foam mattress. He ended up putting padded side boards on his bed frame to give it support (my bed frame already has side boards, which is perfect for memory foam!) I really wish I could have ordered the plush Lucid, even if I would have to replace it in 5 years. For the price, to me, it’s worth it. That plush mattress was perfect, this medium is almost perfect & since it is firmer, hopefully it will last a little longer. Good luck with the search for the perfect mattress! If you can afford to pay a little more, buy one at Costco or somewhere that you can return it if it doesn’t work for you. Or go to a mattress store & take a lie down on different brands. Or lie down on a friend’s memory foam & see how it feels. There’s just no way to know, since every mattress on Amazon has contradictory reviews. I do believe that if you are not sure, go with the firmer one. If it’s too firm, you can always put a topper on it. But if it’s too soft & causes crippling pain & makes you feel like you are sleeping in an inferno of heat, you are pretty much screwed. I do recommend this medium Lucid mattress. It is a good mattress at an affordable price.

My son is happy…and so am I!My 8-year-old son was complaining that my bed is so much more comfortable than his. I had to agree…his old matress (purchased only a year or two ago) was very firm, so I got him this mattress in the most plush version available. Long story short, he calls it his ‘5-star hotel bed’. Hopefully it lasts a good few years. A nice surprise is that it didn’t smell too strongly when we unpacked it, and it was ready to be used in a day.

Firm mattressI’m an otr trucker and I replaced the thin mattress in my truck with this one. Yes it’s actually firm. No sinking to the platform, no more sore back and neck. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Absolutely the best mattress we’ve ever owned !I love how this mattress feels soft when you first lay on it but not too soft and it relieves some of the pressure points when you sleep in one spot all night , I actually get a full nights sleep without tossing and turning because my hips don’t ache from laying on them ! We bought this for our camper and sleep better than at home on our $1200 mattress

10in mediumUpdate: we’ve been sleeping on the mattress for a few nights now and we love it! I would recommend if you want firm to get the medium. I know that may seem weird but I was afraid of the mattress being too blush and it’s not.My fiancé and I upgraded to a king size bed. I bought the 10in king size medium. When I say I am not disappointed, I am not! The bed expanded very quickly, no bad smell or smell at all, and very clean. We have not slept on the bed yet so i am not sure about sleep quality yet but so far it is the perfect feel for us! The first picture is about 30 mins after opening the bed.

Good travel trailer replacement bedThis bed is a bit on the firm side and I got the medium so if you want medium buy the soft. I have lower back pain and have had none since sleeping on this bed. I bought this to replace the garbage mattress in my brand new RV. It fits perfectly, my RV holds a standard queen so measure if replacing yours. I would recommend this bed but might want to add a mattress pad to soften it a bit. Great product overall and I recommend highly!

Just WOWMade a camper on a 4×8 trailer and needed something that wouldn’t deflate. Figured I’d try this mattress (firm) and hope for the best. I’m 5’10” 255lbs and it is leagues better than my normal mattress. My girlfriend who is 1/3 of my size also loved it. I was worried piling up both on top of the mattress ~6hrs after setup would cause problems but nope, we both slept so well and on a twin, which is insane.We plan to replace our $1000+ spring queen with one of these in the near future. This mattress supports back and side sleeping like no other that I’ve tried. Overall very happy with the purchase
