Nice sturdy chairThe chair is nice and sturdy and comfortable, BUT it is not easy to assemble. Everything needs assembling with lots of hardware. That is the reason I only gave it 4 stars. I had written and asked if this was easy to assemble, and was told it only needed the legs to be screwed on. NOT SO!! I had to get someone to assemble it for me.. Of course, I’m 86 years old and not very mechanical, but even so, would not call this easy to assemble!

Very nice!These are lovely (got 2) and really look nice in the therapy waiting area at work. Get lots of compliments on them from males and females, which is awesome b/c we wanted something appealing to both genders. Not to bad to put together.Knocked a star off for 2 reasons:1. The smell! These had a yucky chemical smell that dissipated fairly quickly, but that doesn’t change the fact that you just can’t help wondering if what caused it is still lingering on the chairs. My guess is yes.2. The little wooden rings that match the wood frame that go on the feet to cover the screws are so flimsy that a few came broken and useless. Luckily, you can’t see that unless you flip the chairs over, and the front legs of ours are on a rug, so at least they don’t slide on the polished concrete floor due to not having some buffer there.I’d really consider these. They are very nice, esp for an area that won’t get super duper heavy use, which I imagine most areas this style chair would go would not.

Home Office ChairI LOVE this chair. Excellent value!!! Super easy to assemble. It took me about 10 minutes. toughest part was sorting out the screws, but they have a full page infographic. Follow that and you’re golden.This is in the guest bedroom where I’ve set up my home office in the corner. It’s a tight, small space, but this chair is lovely when my folding desk isn’t up.Super comfy. Very sophisticated. EXCELLENT. Like, I am in love with this chair!!!!!

Great Chair, Not-so-great SmellAs others have mentioned, this is a great chair, but the wood does come covered in very strong-smelling furniture polish that is difficult to clean out of the wood grain.

Arm came damaged from producerOne chair arm was damaged prior to packing. The shipping box was undamaged but the arm had a large gouge in it. We had to repair, build up and stain the damaged area rather than returning such a large shipment.

Very nice chairLove the chairs. Easy to put together. The wood plugs on the back of chair I used a rubber hammer to put them in firmly.

Wasted purchase, but not for my catMy husband could not assemble this chair, and concluded that we didn’t receive all of the hardware. We put the box and chair cushion by a window to be hauled off. The upside is that my cat has taken it up as a window seat!

Beautiful and Strong!I did my dining area in a Victorian look and these chairs are perfect. They are easy to assemble and the wood is heavy and solid. I’m very pleased with these.
