Mellow’s KERA is a simple and modern design made with a unique combination of metal and fabric. The extra thick and sturdy metal frame provides durable support. The traditional upholstered headboard is lowered in height and angled to create a backboard for the perfect leaning position. The backboard is filled with high density foam for comfort and support. This platform bed is available in two simple yet refined colors. We’ve also left 11 inches of clearance under the bed for convenient storage. Enjoy quick and easy assembly with roll-out non-slip taped wooden slats and no other tools needed. Recommended mattress height: 8 to 10 inches. Annoying headboard.So the gap between the headboard & your mattress: your head will slip in there while you sleep & you will keep hitting your head on the bottom of the headboard. & you can’t even lean up which is the point of this design unless you put a giant pillow to block the hole or it will really hurt your back. Also the foam in the headboard is extremely sub par & the fabric is scratchy, so uncomfortable! Horrible design.

Great Sturdy Twin BedI like the simple streamlined look of this bed and that it is steel. I love the back rest feature. it is perfect for sitting up in bed and reading or working. I have it under a twin size loft bed I also bought on Amazon.It is sturdy enough for a larger adult. I put a 10 inch mattress on it and it is perfect height. There is nice space underneath for storage. Only thing I am disappointed in is that there is no middle support bar underneath on the Twin size like the pictures show for the item. That I am assuming is only a picture of a full bed or larger. I would have liked a support bar underneath. However it is holding up fine so far, but it has only been a few days. Time will tell. I will not let my child jump on it!Overall it is a great bed and I easily put it together myself while 8 months pregnant.

BUY ITLove! Bed is sturdy, no squeaks, easy to assemble (gave 4 instead of 5 for assemble only for the fact it is much easier with a second set of hands). My 6 year old and I set it up in maybe 30 mins, she helped hold some pieces steady but otherwise you could do it yourself. All the pieces are marked so you know what piece matches to what area on the frame and what size screw to use. Mattress stays put, one thing I was worried about with no footboard but have had no issues with that and that is without utilizing the adhesive on the slats yet. Looks very nice, could easily go with various decor.

Best Assembly EverBest Assembly Ever? Ever?Yes, ever. It was the most thought out and tool supplied furniture assembly I have ever done. Somewhere there is an engineer that someday get into heaven because of this bed assembly and his provided ratchet and hex key. Bed seems sturdy and I got everything I ordered. Hope this helps. I wish it was 100 dollars less. But overall a good product.

Good valueI like the ease of assembly. List what I was looking for. The back rest is very comfortable for reading in bed or watching TV. The only thing I don’t like is that the fabric on the back rest gives off an awful smell so I had to cover it with plastic until I can make a permanent cover.

Frustrating manufacturing errorsAssembly was a breeze right up until the last step—attaching the headboard. Unfortunately, the holes at either end are just a couple mm too far apart; we spent a frustrated 30 min or so trying to wrestle it into place, loosening the rest of the frame, etc. but it was no use. We can’t drill new holes, either, because the holes have metal set inside the wood.We tried contacting the manufacturer; they can’t replace parts, and we have to go through Amazon. Amazon can only let us return the whole frame (which we love aside from this issue) or send us a whole new one, which we can return after swapping the headboards. We try this and, shocker, the new headboard has the same issue. (Queen-sized grey, FWIW.)We’re still using the bed frame with only half the headboard screws in, but obviously have to be careful not to jostle one end of it.Can’t recommend the company (despite mostly liking the product) because this was such a hassle. They need to fix their fault tolerances.

Excellent construction and materialsWent together very easily tool included in pack. Perfect instructions well written. I love the slating and tack tape to either keep your mattress in place or the bed skirt. It is modern in appearance and very well constructed.
