Just WOW! Never imagined a 14″ bed-in-a-box for under $250 could be this comfortable.So I bought this mattress for my son’s bed at his college apartment. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I have been pleasantly surprised. He says that it is very comfortable and he sleeps well on it. The mattress pairs nicely with the ZINUS Judy Upholstered Platform Bed Frame / Mattress Foundation / Wood Slat Support / No Box Spring Needed / Easy Assembly, Full (and no box spring needed). I do recommend going with 14″ mattress because I think the thicker the mattress, the more comfortable it is. My only complaint/issue with this mattress is that if you sit on the edge, you are going to slide off because there isn’t much support along the edges (as you would see with a $1000 coil mattress). But for only costing $250 and arriving condensed in a box that allowed it to be easily put in an SUV and transported up to school, I can’t complain. We were originally looking at mattresses at C*stc*, but this was about half the price and fit inside the SUV. It did expand to its almost full-size within minutes of removing it from the plastic, and had minimal (if any) odor. I did immediately place the mattress in a Four Seasons Full Size Mattress Protector Bedbug Waterproof Zippered Cover Hypoallergenic Premium Quality Encasement (which I also recommend.)
Bailed Out –
It’s Dreamy!!!I got the king so I knew that the box was going to be a monster, but that was expected (kudos to the UPS guy). Wow, it comes to life once you cut the wrapping and it almost expands to its height right away, but not quite, and there are some high spots initially. There is a sticker on the packing that says “expands to total height in 48 hours” so I didn’t use it for 48 hours. Maybe they should have a sticker that says “don’t use for 48 hours” as I noticed that everything leveled out evenly over that time. I also don’t understand the reviews that say they can feel the coils. I don’t like firm mattresses and this one is firm, but it’s a crazy, comfortable firm. I waited about a month before writing the review just to make sure that it wasn’t too soon. This mattress is fantastic so far. I don’t need an alarm clock in the morning and I find myself sleeping at least an hour later than I did prior to having this mattress. I don’t want to get out of bed in the morning. I’ll edit the review though if things change over time. Hope this helps.

Super Happy with MattressI ordered two of these mattresses in the California King size for each of my guest bedrooms. They were delivered 4-5 days later, and took my husband and I at most 15 minutes each to set up. That was about 5 hours ago and each mattress measures about 12 inches tall- I’m hoping they inflate at least another inch. We have experience with buying mattresses in a box (these are our 5th and 6th ones, but first from Modway) and know that it’s common for them not to totally inflate to the height they advertise. I honestly think it takes a month or so for the whole process to complete. Either way I’m happy with this purchase- these are heavy, quality mattresses that feel supportive yet plush. They will be slept on infrequently by guests, but now we’re prepared- we only had twin mattresses in the guest bedrooms until now, so this is a major improvement. I bought 18 inch tall bed frames which created plenty of storage space underneath. Got a great deal on these and I’m so happy the delivery and set up went like clockwork! I can’t wait to test drive these in a few days- A++++ totally recommend. Modway seems like a decent brand, and I’m glad I finally committed to making this purchase after considering several other brands.

For the price, it seems like a good mattressThe mattress is very comfortable if your not by the edge. There isn’t many support springs around the perimeter, so when you sit or lay on the edges it sinks. However if you stay away from the edges it is very comfortable and has support.After unwrapping the mattress, which took me (I’m a 57 year old woman) only 15 minutes from start to finish, it reached 12 out of the 14 inches. It’s a really nice looking mattress. Never ordered a mattress out of a box before. I live in an apartment and when it was delivered it was dropped off in the foyer. Didn’t even press the buzzer to let me know it was there. I found it by accident. It was a very heavy box I couldn’t move to my apartment myself. Had to borrow a dolly to move it before it was stolen.Other than that, it would be good for a kids room/ dorm or guest room.It’s a good mattress for the price.

For a hybrid, it isn’t a bad bedBought the 14 inch “Jenna” version size Queen . If placing on a platform that is solid or a box frame, you won’t need to buy bunkie boards. But if you buy the metal bed frames on Amazon and the slats on the frame are greater than 3 inches apart, you would be wise to purchase the bunkie boards. I read all the reviews and weighed my options. I have it on a 16 inch platform steel frame.. I bought the 14 inch due to reading about the firmness as some folks who had back issues and a little excess chub, stated it would be a better option. I have slept on their 10 inch full size version and thought it was not as firm. It acts like a traditional mattress that has coils. I don’t feel the coils at all, but the bed does not have a lot of memory foam on it and I think it would be a fantastic bed if they would add at least 2 more inches of memory foam and I would give it 5 stars if they did. It was a good decision, but I gave it 4 stars as it’s firm but not as comfortable as it could be. Still a better option than an all foam mattress. The bed is only 6 months old so I will see how it goes in another year or so and do an update. Would recommend and will purchase another if they have another version that fits my need. It will support two people of moderate height and excess chub. Can move around on the bed without disturbing the other person.

SHOULD OF BOUGHT SOONERIt took me a VERY long time to pick a mattress. Sifting through thousands of reviews. I finally made a decision and purchased the Jenny mattress. It came a day early, in a box. I let it fully “inflate” from being in air vacuumed bag for 48 hours. First night I did not wake up once from pain. My old mattress was a memory foam nightmare. Im very curvy at the hips and my problem is a mattress pushing my hips up causing so much pain in my hips and back. This mattress has completely taken away the pain. NOTE: a few things I’ve seen that are not problematic but just giving an honest review, the ends of mattress kinda slope down still, maybe it needs more time but absolutely so minor you can barely tell unless you’re really looking at it. You can’t feel the slope. Second thing is that the 14inch mattress is a huge difference from my previous 9inch. I did not take that into consideration. It has significantly raised my bed ALOT. So if it’s hard for you to get into bed MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE WHERE THE TOP WILL SIT BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. OTHER THAN THOSE, great mattress!!!!!!!

The BEST mattress I have for my backI have two houses and three beds I use regularly. I purchased this for my 2nd house. It is awesome. I had no back/hip pain in the morning at all. And it’s NOT like sleeping on a board-it’s very comfortable.I do recommend that when you let it out of its packaging-I did it on the floor as suggested-you stand behind the way it will unleash. As I was running the scissors through the plastic, it burstopen at about 3/4 of the way. I was on the wrong side and ended up under the mattress, and the scissors went flying. My only regret is not filming it. I’m pretty sure I could have won on Americas funniest videos!
