great as a shoe cabinet for mudroom/entrancetl;dr:+ great for shoe storage, even larger size 13 shoes+ construction is slightly customizable. cubby holes and wine glass hangers can be left out if you don’t want them.+ attractive design+ sturdy construction- assembly does take a long time, even if you’re handy- steps showing how the hinges re-attach was a little confusing and unclearneither of these issues are a big enough to deduct stars in my opinion, just listing them FYI. It’s still 5 stars and I highly recommend it.full comments:We adopted a puppy last year who has recently acquires the taste for shoes, so we set off on a quest to find a cabinet to hold our shoes near the front door. First we looked at all purpose-built shoe cabinets but hated how they all looked, and many of the tolerable IKEA options were not Evan available.Luckily, we found this cabinet which is *perfect* for us. It fits our little entry nook as if it were custom designed for it. It holds my size 13 sneakers perfectly, and we even use the drawers for socks, keys, etc.We left out the wine glass hangers, and we may also take out the cubby hole section for more shoe storage (it just slides out from that shelf section). Or we may leave it in for mail or something, we haven’t decided yet.It also feels pretty sturdy once all assembled. Speaking of assembly, it was a long process with lots of pieces and hardware. I’m pretty handy and it took me about 3 hours. I definitely recommend using a power screwdriver or drill, because there is a lot of screwing involved. Just be careful because if you drill too hard you can damage the particle board.

Very sturdy attractive wine cabinetBetter quality than expected. Came in 2 boxes- both were pretty heavy for me to move. Perfect mid century piece! Great storage also. Took about 3 hours to assemble. Worth the time! I love this cabinet!!

It is easy to assemble IF you organize it first.as a wine cabinet. A wine cooler is put in right side instead of putting in the drawers and shelf.

Not sturdyI HATE laminate furniture, HATE. So I somewhat knew what I was getting into when I purchased it, but I went out on a limb anyways because I really did love the look. When I received it, it was in a thousand pieces—albeit not too difficult to assemble. But the worst part, is it is not sturdy at all. Sways like a house of cards. And for that reason alone, I do regret this purchase.

Poor quality item, missing most of hardware needed for assembly, bad customer servicePlease do yourself a favor and do not buy this item. It arrived missing multiple parts, instructions were abysmal and to top it off the item seemed to be of terrible quality. The hard part of getting any sort of customer service from either Amazon or the seller – Modway. They did not respond to the request for parts and then when you try to return it, Amazon put the responsibility on Modway. Whereas Modway passes the buck back to Amazon. You will basically find yourself out of $500+ on a crappy piece of furniture.
