Perfect for a small spaceI needed a desk that was small enough to fit in my studio apartment, but large enough to accommodate my personal computer (iMac) and my work laptop. I also wanted a desk with a drawer that didn’t open out straight into my stomach. This desk fits all those criteria, and it looks nice (I’m not a fan of white melamine). I can tuck my iMac keyboard and trackpad away in the cubby space when I’m not working to keep the cats from turning my computer on at 2:00 in the morning.My only complaint is the finishing of the veneer on the front edges. Especially underneath the front bottom edge, the veneer is badly finished and I’ve gotten several splinters in my fingers and thighs. I took to it with some fine grit sandpaper and that seems to have helped, but a tad bit more effort during manufacture would have spared me several dates with my tweezers.That said, the assembly couldn’t have been easier. Step 1: remove from box and packaging. Step 2: screw in the legs. Step 3: place desk and enjoy. I’d honestly rate it at 4.5, but Amazon only allows whole stars and the splinter thing was annoying enough to make the desk not 5-star worthy.

Gorgeously simpleI love this little desk. I work from home and I don’t deal with a lot of paperwork and I wanted something that was minimalist. I didn’t want something that was full of drawers for me to fill up with junk. Assembly was easy and it’s very sturdy. I love the look and it finished out my office perfectly. When I am done with my workday I take my laptop and I store it on the little shelf and I take my notepad and I stored in the drawer and I have a clean beautiful desk. Easy Peezy!

Nice looking desk, sturdy. needs some quality controlThe desk is nice, but the top of mine arrived with cracks on multiple sides. I was able to get a hold of the company itself and they were able to resolve the issue.Amazon refused to give a partial discount. If you have a damaged item, you’re expected to dismantle it and pack up a 50 pound desk again and send it back. Just a warning. If you’re lucky and get a pristine desk, great. It’s a solid nice looking desk.

I literally took it out of the box and screwed in four legs and it was ready to go. Under the section “things you will need” It’s suggested a bubbly beverage to keep you relaxed. I didn’t swear at all during assembly. Really, it took like five minutes. I recommend this company‘s products. It appears to be solid wood, but then again I’m not a carpenter.

Sleek design, disappointing wood content and priceThings I love about this desk; the design, good size workspace and ability to fit in a small areas. The room I set the desk in, worked and matched my needs.The price for MFD wood and what I feel was, when I found this desk, in the description and from the reviews “maybe” was misleading. The only extra from what I described above was it had to be “real wood” not MFD. Looking back and reading the description and reviews and customer pictures; I believed it was real wood. The description back then I recall it saying solid wood, nothing about MFD wood or the likes. The price, pictures, description at the time (they could have updated the description, as it now states MFD wood). The desk arriving, felt, looked and convinced me it was “real.” wood. I passed on many other desks because my musty was real, solid wood; no to must have included “real wood.”I bought a stand to put on this desk recently to support my monitor and laptop. I had to drill a hole into the desktop; surprise surprise surprise, MFD wood. Disappointing, yes! Still looks good, yes. It made me come back to product description and re-read, because I def. would not have purchased, on the fact it’s MFD. 2.5 stars for price paid for MFD. OK 3 stars, for design/looking good. Not as sturdy but looking good.

Beautiful desk for smaller workspacesGot one of these for my home office. Love it. Looks really great, super tasteful and stylish. Also, really easy to put together, although fair warning it’s way way heavier than you might expect. Great for small spaces, though tbh it’s a little smaller than I had expected. All in all though, this is a great desk expecially at this price. Five stars, would buy again (though I hope I won’t have to)
