Looks really nice in the spaceI bought two of these cabinets for my sons room on either side of a bed. They were very heavy in the boxes and required help to get them into the house. Not a negative as they are good quality. I gave a 4 star on easy to assemble as the instructions, though witty with encouragement the actual part instructions were missing some details that made it a guessing game a bit. Yes, it was cute and witty to mention that we were half way done and could go get pizza soon it would have been more helpful to mark or make the drawer parts more obvious in how to install. Hint: I got it wrong and had to have another brain come in and redo that part. Because these cabinets will take you at least 3 hours to put together and I had help with my son. Life lessons learned by all. But once put together correctly and attached to the wall they really do look nice and they are quality.

Pretty decent, but with a couple of issuesWe got this in a pretty damaged box, but upon opening it, it looked like all of the parts had somehow avoided damage. The color we got had gold that be more gold in color. It was sort of a dusty/dirty/dull gold that reminded me of old 70’s decor. Still, it looked quite sturdy after putting it up, and my daughter likes it. The main issue we found was that it just didn’t look straight. After staring at it a while, we noticed there were in fact a few pieces that weren’t quite straight. Whether they had actually been damaged in the box or if they were already crooked is hard to tell, since there were no scratches or dents. We really did not want to take it all apart and send it back, so we’re just going to deal with a somewhat crooked shelf. Her room is very small so no one will likely stand on the other side of the room and stare at it anyway.

Beautiful design!I had my eye on the Theo bookshelf for months before I purchased a pair for my modern dining room. They are just as beautiful as I hoped they’d be and the drawers provide lots of needed storage room. This was not my first rodeo with furniture assembly but these took me twice as long to assemble as estimated. The directions for positioning the drawer glides was confusing but not impossible to figure out. As luck would have it, one of the bookshelves accidentally came with two left sides for one of the drawers and I couldn’t assemble if fully b/c the pre-drilled holes didn’t line up with the connecting screws. This was a bummer but Customer Service could not have been lovelier. I really just wanted a replacement part but they sent me and ENTIRE new bookshelf for my trouble and a cute little box of Godiva chocolates. So kind! That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Nathan James again, even with the little snafu.

Good instructions and looks goodHonestly feels like Ikea furniture, maybe slightly better. Good-enough sturdiness and easy-to-follow directions. Items were well-labeled with their stickers and the item survived shipping w/o damage (despite box being beat up, punctured, etc.). I given an A+ for the packaging. I have a relatively heavy Onkyo receiver (purchased from Costco) sitting on top of this and it works great/looks great.

Just what i was looking for!The product is as pictured! My husband built the product and it did take some time, but when it was finished, it looked perfect! We bought two of them to use as nightstands. One of the shelves was damaged, however Nathan James has great customer service and are willing to work with you. We were very happy with our purchase

OVERALL HAPPY…NOT WORTH FULL PRICEI purchased 2 of the 6 shelf in white to install side by side. Price was reduced that day to $79 which was a remarkable savings considering they weren’t from the Marketplace.-Very Heavy. Boxes weigh 60-70lbs. I was installing alone so assembled with 3 shelves so I could lift upright alone and hold in place. Assembled top shelf and the 2 that cover the joints in the uprights then the last 3 shelves after bolting to the wall.-When placed snugly side by side not quite as clean as I would have liked…things don’t line up precisely but will be fine when shelves are loaded. Shelves wiggle a bit with bolts securely in place.-The description says use in kids rooms but since the posts aren’t secured to the floor, a child could pull this away from the wall and topple the contents of the shelves.I am very happy with the shelving for the $79 I paid. It is a good dupe to the CB2 Stairway shelf. I don’t think its worth the $200 it is usually listed for.

Like, not love.Assembly was simple. However, when I stood back and looked at it, something seemed crooked about the top arm on the left side. I’m not sure why but everything else looks straight except for that top piece. It still does its job though of holding my books so I don’t care too much.

I love this chicSturdy, stylish! I bought a second one of these to have two after I moved in to a bigger space. Try to avoid cleaning with harsh chemicals or color will change.
