No regrets!!!We LOVE this mattress. We did not experience any odor as some people have. It was the right amount of firmness. Of course, we did the breathing test, and it passed. Our baby is starting to roll and having this mattress is a weight off the mind. It must be comfortable, because even though our child would sleep through the night there was a lot of tossing and moving, but not anymore. The price was quite a bit more than I ever expected to pay for a crib mattress but It was worth every penny! 10 stars!

High-end mattress but great quality worth the price for baby’s (and my!) sleepBaby has been sleeping great on the Newton mattress! We received the mattress just as he was turning two months and transitioned him from a mini crib to full size crib. The mattress is noticeably more comfortable than what we were using previously, but firm enough for newborn/infant. And it’s so easy to put down an already-asleep baby because we can comfortably remove our hands when putting him down on his back.The mattress is very breathable and keeps baby cool. With the old mattress, he used to wake up with a sweaty back. The secret is inside the mattress. It’s definitely not your traditional spring, foam, or latex. I can only describe it like a breathable bird’s nest of supportive plastic fibers. Take a look.This is a higher end mattress, but great quality. It’s worth the price for baby’s (and my!) sleep.

A little expensiveIt’s definitely soft and comfortable but I must say it’s almost too breathable. We had to lay a blanket under the mattress because baby was getting cold at night

Soft, breathable, and easy to wash! I was so happy to see that Newton came out with a more affordable model, and also glad to report that they didn’t skimp on quality. I love how soft and breathable the mattress is (my husband was amazed that he could put his face up to it and still breath through it!). The other best thing feature is how easy it is to wash. You can even wash the core of it if you need to! So excited to have found this as one of my first nursery purchases 🙂

Firm, comfortable and breathableFirm, comfortable and breathable. I was skeptical that a crib mattress should be this expensive…but as soon as I opened the package, I knew we made a good choice. The cover is soft and cozy which made me press my face to it. The description was so right- it’s completely breathable. I could breathe through the mattress! It’s also lightweight so it will be easy to move in and out of the crib when putting on the Newton sheets. I already feel more comfortable knowing that my baby has the safest mattress we can give her. I definitely recommend it.

Cover too looseI was super excited for this mattress considering all the hype, but mine has a very loose mattress cover. Haven’t seen any other reviews with this problem, so not sure if mine is defective or what. Thought it would be okay once I put it in the crib, but literally a good pinch of extra fabric on all sides was enough for me to feel like it was unsafe. 3rd baby and never seen that before with any other mattress, cover, or sheets even.

I highly doubt the non toxicity of this product!!!!!This mattress is made 80% out of Rayon. Just look it up and make your own judgment. I didn’t know, otherwise wouldn’t have bought it. I just got it and already regret it. It smells pretty strong even after full day outside without the cover. When you put the core into your face and try to breath through it is fully breathable but it smells and feels super unpleasant in your mouth/nose. When this entire thing is all breathable that means my child will breath all the chemicals coming out of this product. With the waterproof covers I spent almost 400 dollars on this, big mistake. I will call their customer service and see what they have to say.On the other hand, the mattress feels appropriately firm and comfortable and their claim of breathability is 100% legit but again the questionable toxicity and the unpleasant smell is the biggest problem with this product.

Breathable, Washable, A Parent’s Dream Come TrueThe price had me cringing, because three babies in, I have never spent so much on a crib mattress before. However, three babies in, I have also never slept better (and neither has babe). The peace of mind, knowing that baby can breathe no matter how they choose to sleep, is WORTH THE PRICE!! Not to mention, being able to fully hose down the dang mattress if you need to! If I could go back in time, I would absolutely tell my younger self to invest in this mattress for my older kiddos as well.Also, it is ridiculously fascinating to hold a light up under the crib and watch the whole mattress glow. Just saying.

Great mattressHaving this mattress has really put me at ease as a first-time mom. I read reviews that there is a chemical smell but I didn’t not find that to be the case.
